Beauty and modernity meet in this standout oceanfront home perched above Secret Beach.

We just got home from a magical 9 nights at Secret Cove and are already talking about when we can go back! The house was absolutely incredible-there are truly not enough words to describe how relaxing and comfortable and high-end everything was. Every detail was thought through, and every convenience provided. The pool and spa were hard to leave, with views that took our breath away anew each day. The joy of sleeping with doors open and hearing the nightly rain was so peaceful. We loved walking down the secret path each day to the almost secluded beach that was vast, yet so uncrowded. Although we were there in March when the surf was still too rough to swim, we loved having such a beautiful beach so easily accessible. Each evening just before dusk, we took out the binoculars (which were provided) and watched humpback whales playing out in the ocean. Not only was the house just perfect, but our host Jason, helped plan our week with suggestions and connections for surf lessons, a catamaran/snorkeling boat ride, three dinners cooked by fabulous chefs at home, and even a rental car company we used. To show how far above and beyond Jason went to make our stay wonderful, we planned to cook seafood on a Sunday but then realized that most seafood stores were closed on Sundays. I texted Jason to see if he had any ideas, and not only did he recommend a seafood market, but he said he was close to it at the moment and would gladly pick up whatever we needed and drop it by the house! Our family with now adult children and their parters have been lucky to travel a lot, and we all agreed that this trip is among the absolute best--if not THE best--we've ever taken.

We had a wonderful stay at Secret Cove. The house is incredibly well maintained. A first rate kitchen, very comfortable common areas, a straightforward if somewhat challenging direct pathway to a stunning near private beach, and incredible views. A great property for a family with the 3 'pod' rooms offset from the main house, each very well designed and appointed. And many thanks to Pete for being incredibly responsive and proactive the the inevitable few minor issues, and also to Leticia for helping to arrange a few important add ons. We will be back !

We’ve rented homes in Hawaii for many years. The homes were always great but sometimes we’d say, “interior is dated” or “yard is not great” or “too noisy”. Here’s the thing about Secret Cove….you can’t really say it lacks anything. House is modern, clean and inviting. Yard is pristine with a view that is not to be believed. Words don’t do it justice. Noise? The only noise is from the roosters but nothing you can do about that haha. Secluded, beautiful, clean and inviting. We found nothing wrong with the house and would rent again in a heartbeat. Secret Cove also has two secret weapons. Pete the property manager and Jason the Concierge. Between the house and those two gentlemen, you are guaranteed an amazing experience.

We've rented Secret Cove several years now and we love its indoor-outdoor living experience in a fantastic location for amazing views, Secret Beach access and minutes to all of the great options in Kilauea. Having three identical but perfect guests rooms make hosting friends easy (no preference politics) but they all have great views, too. We cooked at the house several nights over the week we stayed and the kitchen is well appointed. The pool and hot tub work great. And we loved our evening bon fires out on the back lawn. The Pure Kauai team was a pure joy - Leticia was spot on top of everything and provided great options from yoga, to adventures, to dinner spots. Sincerely - Jeff and Jon
