Beautifully Updated Oceanfront Cottage with a Hot Tub in Downtown, Beach Access!

Fantastic experience at the cottage! This is a perfect place for a couple, a small group of adults or a family of 4-6. Interior is clean annd exactly as pictured. The two baths and two levels create user flexibility. The ocean views and direct location to the beach were incredible A short walk (less than a minute) through the dunes puts you right at the waters edge. Communication with the owner was prompt, thorough and helpful. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed having a fenced yard and a short walk to the beach. The neighbors were hosting a wedding so it very much felt like we were sharing a backyard. There is not much privacy, but luckily the neighbors were kind and respectful. Very walkable area and overall enjoyed our stay in this unit.

Perfect place for a family of 4. Loved the beach access, hot tub, and great views. Only a few blocks away from all Rockaway has to offer so we walked everywhere. Clean and great appliances. We would definitely come back again.

Nice cozy house, modern upgrades. Easy path to the beach with many restaurants and shops just across the street. Hot tube was nice and relaxing, would definitely come back.

Lovely property with a beautiful view. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was a huge plus! Only bummer was the stovetop was broken so we weren't able to cook all the food we brought and had to do eat out more than anticipated. They did bring in hot plates eventually so we were able to cook everything the rest of the weekend. Would definitely come back!

On its own, the sunset on the beach would be 5 stars.. we loved catching the sunsets on the beach. The hot tub man a drizzly afternoon better.. even heated floors in the bathroom!

We were notified 1.5 hours before arrival that we wouldn’t be able to check-in on time and that we couldn’t arrive until 1.5 hours after initial arrival. Additional notice would have been helpful. Upon arrival the house was in good condition. When we went to use the hot tub the first night the water appeared very murky but we were hopeful it would clear up over night. The next day it was even worse and the water had started to smell foul. We reached out to the Meredith team to see if we could get some chemicals to clean the hot tub out and were told it would be addressed in the morning during their working hours. We never heard anything the next day even though we reached out again mid-day. We never got any response until 2 hours after we checked out (almost 1.5 days after we first notified them of the issue). My daughter and I both ended up with a rash on our body from what we can only anticipate was the hot tub water. It was very disappointing that we weren’t able to use the hot tub for over half of our visit, especially because the hot tub was one of the main reasons we chose the house. Customer service from the company was well below my expectations and I will not plan to rent another house from this rental company again.

Property is as pictured in photo and accomodated our party of 4 adult women. Trundle beds upstairs are great for kids but could be a challenge for adults. Both bathrooms downstairs and stairs to climb from parking outside. But kitchen and living area with windows to see the ocean . Hottub was in great shape! Beach towels and extra blankets came in handy!

The property was fantastic! We weren’t able to use the hot tub the first night because the temperature was set too low and needed the entire night to come up to temperature, but otherwise kept temperature the rest of our trip and was very relaxing. The property was impeccably clean, very bright & welcoming. Loved the couch for a late night movie. Loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you!

Very clean well put together property I think everything you would need

Access to the beach is great. Beautiful location. Comfortable home and well-equipped kitchen. Backyard is not very private as it is adjacent to neighbors, and there are no visual barriers. Very clean and organized.

Enjoyed our stay here. Good location for exploring both north and south of Rockaway beach. Hot tub was great after long days of exploring the coast. Pictures accurately showed the house. Very clean. Just be careful on stairs going down from upstairs bedroom. We slipped going down twice.

We loved this property. The location couldn’t have been better, and property was so comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and a short trail walk to beach. Wouldn’t suggest for older folks or handicapped. Rocks between stairs and house are uneven and a couple minor trips. Master bedroom has very low bed which I had a difficult time getting up from so I slept in chair (I’m the old guy) otherwise, very nice!

The location of the cabin is great! You do have to walk over a dune in very soft sand to get to the beach, but that is typical for the area and it is worth the walk. Chairs and beach items are provided which was great. The temperature was in the 90’s when we were there so the AC was wonderful. Only complaint is the primary bedroom is very small. You cannot fit a suitcase in the bedroom. It was very tastefully done for the size. Also, they do not provide coffee so you need to bring your own.

We loved our stay. Very updated and stocked with everything you needed. The home being right on the beach was the main reason we booked- I am so glad we did. The location was amazing and the view was dreamy.

We knew we wanted to take in several different beaches during our stay. This location made it all a short drive! Cute and clean home! Perfect for our family of 4! Didn’t use the hot tub because of the outdoor camera in the back. Made it feel a bit awkward! But that was the only draw back.

Updated and modern beach house. Amazing views, sounds, and access.
