On the positive side, this property is in an excellent location. It is a very easy walk to all the great shops and restaurants downtown. The main issue is that the place smells really musty. I called the property manager as soon as we entered the home because the smell was overwhelming and the place was really hot. It turns out the A/C was not working, which we didn't discover until a couple hours later. The management company did get someone out to fixed it that night but we ended up waiting around all night for it to be addressed. It did not cool down until the next day and it was miserable upstairs where the bedrooms are located. I had to drive into Holland late that night to buy fans. I thought we should have received some compensation for that night (even to just reimburse for the fans) but the property management company refused. Even after the A/C was working it didn't really get cool upstairs the whole time because there are very few vents in the rooms. The fans were needed the whole stay. I left them there in hopes that the next guests would at least have them to use. The other issue was mold in the master bathroom. I complained about that as well (and sent photos) but the property management company did not take me seriously because they said it was just on the grout lines. That was a disappointing response as was their response on the musty smell. Overall, I would not stay here again or anywhere with the same property management company.
