Beautiful Waterfront Property on Candle Lake

Beautiful quiet location with outstanding host. Cabin had everything one could possibly want for a relaxing stay.

This cabin was located on the most perfect waterfront lot on Candle lake. The cabin was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The owners were friendly and attentive. We have stay at many cabins over the years, at places all over North America, this is one of the best we have stayed at.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The cabin was just lovely, and had so many perks that made it one of the best vacations in a long time. It had a beautiful lake view, a super spacious lot, so many water toys offered to use(kayaks, life jackets, sand toys, skim boards, canoe, water mat, nets), was walking distance to ice cream and to many trails. It had water access from the property, a dock, a fantastic deck, and a fire pit with room for all. The hosts were super easy to get a hold of, and really went out of their way to make sure we had more than we needed- including bringing over espresso beans and extra kid toys. We were also super lucky to have Susan and Ted take our family out on their boat to tube and water ski- something that our kids will never forget and beyond generous to even offer as hosts. If you are looking for a relaxing lake retreat that offers it all, this is THE place. We hope to be back!

Amazing relaxing stay, we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards. Cabin was lovely, and had everything we needed. Susan was an excellent attentive host. I hope we can return!

A beautiful vacation. The cabin has everything you need. It is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The property is both very private and in a convenient location. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe. This was my family's first time at Candle Lake and we were very impressed. Susan and Ted were incredibly gracious and accommodating. We loved it!

Excellent accommodations and fantastic host!

We had the best time at Susan’s cabin, even though we didn’t have the best weather we still made the best of the weekend. The bunk bed living room area upstairs was a hit with our kids they spent a lot of time playing up there! They also really enjoyed the little pond area that comes from the lake with the little dock it was perfect, for the kids wanting to play in the water it was shallow and we could watch them from the deck. That is where most of the time was spent. We had absolutely everything we needed and more there, we made some great meals and enjoyed them on the deck. It’s a a great little spot that is kind of hidden. We utilized the kayaks and paddle boards. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this rental or the owners Susan was lovely to deal with and made the booking process a breeze, it was very clean and organized I would absolutely recommend this spot, we will definitely book again in the future!

The independent house near the lake is clean and tidy with romantic decoration. It is very quiet. There are various water sports equipment. The children set off fireworks at night. It was a perfect holiday. I will definitely come again if I have the chance. The most important thing is that Susan is very caring, warm and kind.

What a beautiful property! Susan provided us with everything we needed. She was an excellent host. The house has everything you need and you can travel light without a worry. The lake is so clean! Recomend for everyone that would like a quiet time in nature!

We had such a good stay at this cottage. The location was quiet and private and spacious. The house was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed being able to use kayaks and paddle boards, and everything we needed was available. Susan is a very welcoming and available host.

Susan was a wonderful host and was very accommodating from booking through hosting. The lakefront lot was great for our extended family's kids to play, and being able to use a water play mat and paddleboards made the retreat even better. Thank you so much for everything!

Lake front. Quiet neighbours. Dead end road. Beautiful cabin. Very clean. Lots of lake amenities. Super attentive - we needed an extension cord and Ted drove it over very quickly. Must stay.

A beautiful lake-front property which was exceptionally well equipped! Roomy, well laid out and efficient. The hosts were wonderful! Nestled in the trees, yet close to marina, golf course and stores. A gem!

This cabin has it all. The location is amazing . You have water front access to the lake, beautiful lawn to play games and a fire pit to enjoy evenings . The wrap around deck was amazing for morning coffees. Susan was great to communicate with. The cabin had every essential thing you needed so forgetting things was not problem. Location of the cabin was perfect. Being the last cabin lot on a dead end road with no traffic or noise. The cabin was spotless and very well maintained. The bunk room upstairs is a sleepover heaven with extra beds and bedding provided. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family. It checked all our boxes and more, We had an amazing weekend. Try the granola it’s absolutely delicious

We had alot of fun visiting with family at the lake. The house is in a great location, and on a nice quiet lake front area. House is well stocked and was perfect for us with small children.
