Beautiful Water Views, Huge Yard, Boat Dock, Private, Quiet, Minutes to Beaufort

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and the host answered all questions including information about bringing our boat. An added plus for us is that we caught some crab off the dock! We would definitely recommend and would want to rent again.

The property is 10 minutes or so from the historic downtown, right on the creek & marsh so you feel a world apart. Peaceful & well appointed for small to larger gatherings. Your host Eric, is readily available & accommodating. We had a lovely time & highly recommend this retreat within the town!

Home was very clean and was as described. Enjoyed spending time on the dock watching the fish and stingray.

We loved this place, it’s very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We loved that you can view the marsh from inside, as well as being able to fish without having to leave. Not far from stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Incredibly beautiful view. It was so peaceful, especially in the morning with the beautiful sounds of birds. Everything was tidy and organized. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Really enjoyed our stay

Nice , quiet place. Not a lot of water in the creek at low tide. Need to be careful if going in at low. Overall it is a great place.

The house was set up perfectly for family gatherings with a nice open space indoors. The main room is more spacious than in the pictures with high ceilings, fire place, and a great dining room with windows surrounding. Our favorite place was a corner with chairs that overlooked the deck and water view. And tables on the deck to enjoy the great view. My husband never left the dock and had great luck catching sea trout, shrimp, huge crabs, and plenty of bait fish, including mullet with a casting net. Two fish we kept and were able to have fresh fish for dinner! The location worked out well since Lady’s Island is a short drive into downtown Beaufort and Port Royal. Definitely arrive the first time during daylight since it is easier to find. We were also able to easily drive to Hunting Island Park, and so glad we did! Definitely worth checking out. No fish but were told that fishing the incoming tide on the beach by the pilings and lighthouse has resulted in redfish.

Beutiful place, very clean, comfortable ,everything you need was there, can't say enough good about this place and the host, great fishing in the area, plenty of room for boat, very peaceful and relaxing, will definitely be returning

Eric was very responsive to our needs. Eric's home was perfect for our needs, and the view was exceptional. While our stay was very short, the time we had would have been much more enjoyable, if the monsoons had not hit while we were there! Thanks, Eric for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful time! Breathtaking views. Great dock and was able to maneuver low tide out to the sandbar. Cast net and crab trap were succcessful.

We are two couples in our seventies and we found this house to be excellent. The house is spotless and comfortable with views of the marsh that make sitting on the deck at any time of the day a memorable and relaxing experience. The song birds in the trees also add to the backdrop. I also enjoyed walking to the end of the dock to observe the marsh life and the tides. The location of the property is very quiet and convenient for trips to the store, nearby towns and Hunting Island. Communication regarding the directions for arrival, checking in and departure are clear, concise and easy to follow. It is obvious that Eric the host takes pride in this special property. The photos that accompany the web site really do show what to expect. The four of us highly recommend this property as a wonderful place to relax and explore the Beaufort area.

Our second stay in the lodge, and once again we had an amazing time. This time, a dolphin swam directly beneath me on the dock. The location is unbeatable. I didn't want to leave!

The home looks like something out of a Pat Conroy film.It was beautiful and peaceful and I personally loved the home and setting.The approach road was unique and Eric had an incredible home and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone staying here.Super close to all the good eateries.

This place is a gem, off the beaten path, incredibly clean, comfortable beds. So happy we stayed here. Waking up to the sounds of birds was a highlight to this trip. Thanks for the Southern Hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay the week of Christmas. Peaceful location and comfortable home. Had everything we needed and also enjoyed the fireplace. Recommend for a relaxing stay and would certainly stay again when we are back in town.

Home was amazing. We had a group of six fishing for the weekend. Plenty of room for the boats. One parked at the dock for the weekend. Wonderful outside porch and fantastic views.
