Beautiful view house in Carrollton

The location & size are great. We got to check in 1 hour early, yay but overall communication wasn't great. 1 of the toilets was broken w a paper towel sign saying don't use. They didn't fix or refund part of what we paid for...an extra bathroom where 4 people stayed, ending with only 2 working bathrooms.There was loose pavement and a loose step we all tripped over inside. 1 of my guests got a piece of glass in their foot walking barefoot - none of us could do because it was obvious the floor hadnt been swept or mopped. I found crumbs, cobwebs & hair everywhere. We figured out thanks to our allergies the smell we noticed was dust. Opening the wooden blinds I found so many cobwebs & dust. The master bed was broken so I slept in a dip & the window was covered in tape that probably has mold behind or underneath it. Lamps in the bedrooms were broken & the tub downstairs drained so slow everyone took a bath while taking a shower. The pool table had a broken pocket & someone had stolen the iron so instead of replacing it before we got there they offered to pay us back if we bought one.The owners refused to refund the cleaning fee for providing a dirty place, took no accountability & said that it was our fault not saying so right when we dropped off our bags to eat dinner... If we could've afforded to cancel and book elsewhere we would have

We found the home functional and in need of some basic repairs. Pros: *Electric garage door made in and out easyAC was wonderful...it was a scorcher the week we *were there*Two frigs which helped with storing things we needed for the conference*Good neighborhood for walking... There's a bike and walking path close by*Close to restaurants and stores*Communication was ok. I was flying in to Dallas and needed to communicate how to get into the house to others arriving and they insisted we wait until an hour before so we changed our arrival plan because I couldn't get the information to the group because it came while I was in the air. Cons-*House is under construction in the front which we didn't learn about until 4 days before our arrival. * Privacy curtain in the master bath was off*Outlets in the bathroom didn't work*Frig water & ice dispenser broken*Trash on the floor of the garage*Floors were dusty *Coffee dispenser was dirty and dated*Half bath toilet was broken*Beds were uncomfortably We were gone during the day for a conference so it was ok for that purpose but if you're planning to be at the house these things could be more irritating.

Overall joined the stay we had an awesome weekend the weather is the only thing that ruined the weekend

Booked for my daughters and I for a soccer tournament. Communication with host was terrible, did not receive check-in info until last minute after reaching out several times. Came in after a soccer practice after 8pm and my daughter went to shower upstairs water started pouring through ceiling into downstairs hallway. Hosts response was to turn off shower and try a different shower head. Due to it being late and having an early game we didn’t not push the issue and tried to go to bed. While putting up groceries we started noticing the LARGE roaches, under fridge, on counter, in pantry. Later also saw them in pool table room, closets and bathrooms. Again reached out to host and received a response of he had termites out recently and would complain. I let him know I was not comfortable staying and would be leaving the following morning. He offered another of his properties that was 40 minutes from fields we were playing at and also had terrible reviews from past renters. I let him know this would not work and asked for a refund. He refused refund and started denying the issues he had already acknowledged. I had to book another home for our 8 night stay out of pockets and lost all the cold and frozen groceries that I had nowhere to keep until able to check into a new place. The space described in listing is a poorly maintained home that is unclean. Evidence of several leaks throughout home, one exterior door taped shut, garage door looks unstable and to be falling, seals on off

Great location and house. Has everything our group needed. Had enough room for our group and more.Host is great but there were a couple of slight inconveniences. No instructions were given for check in or check out which is not a problem. Just had to message to get check in information which was provided 15 minutes before check in time.Stove required instructions to use and we had to message host for a manual and it took her a while to respond.No garage code provided but we were able to find the garage opener.Host was good in her communications but did take longer to respond. Overall a nice stay in a great location.
