Beautiful Victorian Whole House Rental! Empress of Cape May

Everything was wonderful. I great place to host a girl’s getaway on a frozen February weekend.

Absolutely awesome venue. I could not recommend the property enough. Enjoyed the time with the family greatly and the space worked out perfectly. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

What a wonderful place! We were a group of 7 couples and each couple had their own room and bath. The house is large, comfortable and quite unique with each space having a distinct personality. It felt like we were living in a different time zone; back in the Victorian age with precious antiques and tapestries in each room. It was a decorator's delight! On top of this the place was spotless and well loved and cared for. And there were many modern amenities as well. We highly recommend the Empress and hope to return one day. Jason, the owner, was very helpful, responded immediately when contacted and was a delight to work with. Viva The Empress!

Beautiful and well-kept, roomy house in a great location.

When we opened the door, we were impressed with the kitchen - not so much the size, but the decor and the fact that it was perfectly appointed. A step away breaks into the magnificent dining room and living rooms with plenty of space. All of the bedrooms were so beautifully decorated with unique personalities. The fact that each bedroom had its private bath was very helpful given our large family. The outside porch was delightful, and the location is perfect for the beach, shopping, dining, etc. We felt very treated to be staying at The Empress where everywhere we looked we found beauty.

As pictured online .......one outstanding feature was the parking......we had 6 cars.......they all fit on the driveway....we loved the downstairs movie theatre........The house easily accommodated our whole family .... there were 12 of us.....we put together a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle supplied in the house, We made breakfast and lunch each day and had one big dinner we cooked. The house is close to so many Cape May features including the beach......short and long walks available to experience for all age groups.

We had an amazing stay. The host, Jason, was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating and responsive. Would love to stay here again!

We had the most amazing time at the Empress! The house has all the charm and more in person as it does in the photos. The character of the house and all the details added to the vibe of the trip and the space was perfect for four families of four. The location is incredible, right downtown with access to shops, restaurants and arcade! Huge thank you to Jason the host who was so easy to work with and very responsive!

The Empress was fabulous! Eight ladies (princesses all), eight lovely en suite bedrooms as promised. Plenty of room for gathering and the shortest of walks to both town and the beach. Empressive!

Almost Perfection! We hope to lengthen our stay and return to The Empress annually. Almost magical!

We actually used this as a wedding weekend venue. We got married in November this year and had all of our family and friends stay with us, since we had a micro wedding. Everyone had their own rooms and each room had its own bathroom, so it is the perfect set up for people who may not know each other. The men loved the movie theater and played all the big games of the weekend. Jason was super responsive and answered all my questions. The house is so unique that I know our guests were in awe and will talk about it for years to come.

Our book club came here to celebrate 25 years together. The house was beautiful, clean, and so well maintained. Jason was always available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental.

This is an amazing vacation rental sure to please everyone. It is beautifully decorated while still being quite comfortable. The location couldn’t be more convenient, in the midst of shopping, dining, and a block to the ocean. The house is clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and we truly appreciated that linens were provided. After a full day at the beach, the kids enjoyed the theater while the adults relaxed on the lovely porch. We had a wonderful and memorable stay at The Empress and would not hesitate to return.
