Stayed Aug 4, 2024The kitchen was not cleaned prior to us arriving which was very disappointing. This was not a one time forgot to clean this was an accumulation. The oven was so dirty I would not cook in it, there was popcorn butter all over the inside of the microwave, the toaster was not good. There was leftover coffee in the coffee pot. I actually thought maybe we got our days wrong and someone was still staying there. There was a leak from the upstairs down into the laundry room to the point there was puddling water. We also battled ants to the point they were crawling on us on the couch. I am sad that this happened because the concept and location are so beautiful. For the amount of money charged for this home and the cleaning deposit, I would expect this home to be clean. I took picture when we arrived and communicated with the owner. She was responsive but only insisted it was clean despite the information I shared with her. I have picture I can share but I don’t see an option To do that here. If the home would have been clean it would have been a 9 star stay. Beautiful location, beautiful home, but cleanliness killed it for us

Stayed Jul 14, 2023We had a great time at the “Hay House.” The house is nice and open. The kitchen is well stocked (they even have a coffee grinder). The area is quiet and the views of the Mission Mountains are great. This is the second time I have had my family here and there will definitely be a third!
