Beautiful Sylvan Lake waterfront property with unobstructed beach access.

The home was thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay, with a ton of space for a big family and well-stocked coffee, kitchen staples, and a generally homey decor throughout the space. Instructions for how to clean out and pack up were clear and easy to follow and checking in and out was a breeze. This host was strong in the areas of communication, thoughtfulness, and the overall creation of a fun, welcoming space, with helpful signs and notes around the house to label things clearly and good response time when we had questions.***However, were a bit depressed to find that the ensuite bathroom extraction fan and the other bathroom extraction fan on the main floor did not work at all, resulting in some ... bathroom awkwardness.We also found that the towels smelled very musty/mushroomy when wet, as if they had not been cleaned thoroughly enough, requiring vinegar/oxyclean in the wash procedure or perhaps higher heat. Towels have a proclivity for fungal odors and are difficult to clean once that sets in but in a VRBO, it is a really important thing to figure out, from both a hopsitality and a sanitation perspective. It is solely on account of the towels, and the bathroom fan that we could not quite give a five star review.

Host was amazing, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Definitely planning on returning to this location.

Great location but in of upkeep inside and out. Adequate supply of blankets, utensils. Seating for dining was inadequate. Fridge shelves from the door. Coffee making machines were great.Parking was a pain, being limited to four vehicles when advertising room for 17 people.

Awesome waterfront property! Comfy & spacious. Immaculately clean & proudly cared for. Check-in was a breeze and host is available during stay. Best stocked chef's kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, platters, fruit juicer!, electric griddle, clean bbq, etc) we've ever vrbo'd. Closet FULL of extra towels, linens, etc and TONS of firewood. And the sandy beach - direct view and access - stunning sunsets. Located on peaceful Jarvis Bay, a stroll away from the hubbub of the 'main' beach, if you enjoy a more vibrant nightlife. Really can't say enough! Excellent property for families/larger groups. Will def return!

The property was located at a perfect spot for kids playing. There were lots of towels available, would not need to bring any extra towels. Tammy was also very responsive host.

We are not used to not having a/c so we kept the windows open at night and fans on during the day. The train would blow its whistle up to four times at midnight passing through, that is very jarring!!

We had a most amazing time staying at this beautiful property!! It exceeded expectations in every way! The house is very well equipped; everything from all you would dream of in the kitchen to chairs for around the fire pit. Tammy was very helpful answering all of my many questions ahead of time.

The extended accommodations behind the house should be deleted from the listing as it was not habitable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Loved it. We fixed the screen door in the basement as it was banging a lot and did not fit the door frame. The towel bars were not on their brackets, so no where to hang towels. The ceiling fan was loaded with dust. In the master bedroom, there was not a proper curtain. BBQ was really dirty. With this said, our family had a really great time.

It was perfect location for our 15 days on Sylvan Lake. We saw amazing sunsets from the deck, from kayaks/paddle boards on the lake and from the house. We had fires in the fire pit, fires in the fireplace and tabletop fires on the deck. Access to the lake was amazing… just walk out the door and you were there. We spent hours in the water and on the beach. The location was perfect. We could walk or drive to town, walk on the lake shore or just take a stroll through the community. Everyone was friendly. The house was perfect for our family of grandparents, parents and 3 teenagers. Everyone had more than enough space. There was ample room to be together, while offering plenty of room to get away for me-time. So many amenities were supplied at the house. The upstairs kitchen lacked for nothing. We used it a lot. (There are 2 kitchens in the house. We only needed to use the refrigerator in the second kitchen. Teenagers need lots of food and drinks.) We grilled many times on the back deck off the kitchen. Mealtime was a breeze with the spacious kitchen. The host was magnificent! Tammy was so easy and fun to communicate with. She answered immediately when contacted and offered immediate solutions to any request or question. I can’t imagine any other host that could be more attentive. All of our needs were met and/or exceeded. It was a unique, relaxing and memorable vacation! I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fabulous vacation in Sylvan Lake. The host was fantastic and very responsive and accommodating. What a perfect location and the home was wonderfully set up for a large family or for a large group. The two Kitchens were well stocked and we enjoyed the ability to feel like we were at home away from home. Very pleased with the detail and all the extras in This Home.

Weather was phenomenal, beach across the street had amazing sunsets and easy to watch the kids. Lawn chairs, fire pit, wood all provided, so didn’t need to pack much bulky stuff. High chairs and lots of kitchen ‘stuff’. Lots of fans to move air around. Big family seating in kitchen. Nice space separation, great deck. Thanks for a great stay!

This house is absolutely amazing!! Clean and spacious great access to the lake/beach!! Would stay here any time!! Highly recommend!!

We had our kids and grandkids all there for a Canada day long weekend. Walked with the whole family to the downtown activities and spend a lot off time on the beach ⛱️
