★ Beautiful Setting near Duke & Trails ★

Laura and Brad are wonderful, caring hosts. We stayed at the house for medical treatment at Duke. The location is super convenient to the hospital and the state park. We loved adventuring into the woods and to the river and creeks straight from the driveway. The house had everything you needed. It truly felt like home for my family in a very challenging time.

Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again if we are in Durham. Loved the woods. Our favorite house feature was the skylight in the living room that lets in diffuse, natural light. Our least favorite house feature was the smallness of the kitchen. Although there is a dishwasher, it is portable and we considered it too much of a bother to set it up. Bedrooms had lots of space and the table was able to accommodate guests. We were able to have 6.

Visited during Thanksgiving. The home was welcoming after spending time with our family at another location. Trails nearby were an added plus.

Super comfortable house! It's surrounded by trees, and we were visited by several deer while we were there. It was very quiet, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep late or take naps. It's just down the street from other houses though so it didn't feel too remote. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

This property was perfect for our needs and exactly as advertised: a cozy, well maintained, and charming retreat on a quiet wooded property. It was immaculate and Laura and Brad were great to work with. We highly recommend it.

Peaceful and beautiful setting. Loved seeing the deer everyday!! Best well stocked kitchen of any place we have ever stayed. Great location close to shopping, restaurants and of course Duke University!! Great hosts. Laura checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was going okay.

We were very happy with this property. Very comfortable beds, thoughtful touches everywhere and an attentive host. Would readily stay here again if in the area.

We LOVED our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer. We were two adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 7 and had plenty of space. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed for a few meals at home. It was so helpful to have laundry in the house when a trip to the Eno River quickly led to swimming in our clothes :) Laura was extremely helpful and we so appreciated the kids toys and board games. We hope to come back during a future trip. A full day swimming and relaxing by the Eno River was highlight as were the Duke Gardens. Beautiful area!

This property was well equipped with everything we needed. The property was quiet and peaceful while also having access to forested walking trails. We enjoyed the trails and also the close proximity to Duke med center and shopping. The owners are extremely helpful and we would definitely stay here again.
