This is a fantastic house and it worked really well for our family group. The location is great. We didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub this time unfortunately but the garden is huge and my toddler loved the castle!

We loved our stay here. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. The old fashioned key was charming and a tad bit troublesome, but we got it eventually. The beds were comfortable, the furniture clean, and kitchen well appointed. There is no air conditioning and it was pretty hot inside when we first arrived, which was one of the hottest days of the year. It cooled down by morning and the provided fans helped the air flow to stay cool through the trip. The town is lovely with plenty of restaurants and stores for anything you need. Everyone we met was exceptionally kind and we would absolutely stay here again. There are three things to be aware of: 1. Parking is available, but it is tight for larger vehicles. We had a large van and it fit fine, but we had to back in quite a ways to maneuver around the other vehicles on the driveway. 2. The stairs inside are fairly steep for older guests. Thankfully the banisters are supportive and there is room to use your cane. 3. The back patio has a number of different levels of same-colored blocks. There is no issue with stability, but this is right outside the back door, so if your party has older guests or toddlers, you might want to help them with this section.

We were a group of 5 friends. The house was immaculate. It was lovely sitting outside looking at the beautiful views. It was a very short walk to the town which has a lovely market, great shops and fabulous restaurants. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Larchfield Grange is a great home with plenty of room for everyone. It was nice to have two living rooms so some could play games while others were talking. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals if you choose. The back garden is really big with a view of a small mountain. The house is a 3 minute walk to Morrison’s, and about 10 minutes to the town center. It is a little bit of a hill to walk back to the house but it’s manageable. There is room for three cars to park out back. The owner was very responsive and while we had a couple of plumbing-related issues, she did her best to sort them out as quickly as possible.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful and very modern home. The furnishings were comfortable and the home spotless. Evenings sitting in the lovely garden with a glass of wine (thank you for that gift) while my granddaughters had fun in the play castle was so relaxing after a day of touring and visiting sites. We all felt very comfortable in this large home. There were seven of us and we had traveled from California to visit family in Abergavenny. We particularly appreciated the washer and dryer and the location. It was an easy walk to the center of Abergavenny. I'm sure I'll be visiting Abergavenny again as I have so many ties to this town. I will definitely book again.

Absolutely adored this property, great location and surroundings to celebrate with friends. Beautifully decorated with all the thoughtful touches and only a 5/10 min walk in to Abergavenny town centre. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

A family of 7 consisting of child, parents and grandparents, this property was perfect. There is a large kitchen and lounge for socialising, both of which open into a huge garden with a play castle for children which my son loved! All the amenities and linen were high quality and the house is located in a very quiet area with amazing views of the mountains and just a short walk into the town centre. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this property or staying here again as it was just prefect!
