Beautiful private & immaculate- Sunny-Side-Up cottage 4.7 mi to Englwood beach

This house was beautiful! The owners were so nice. Best of all the home was immaculately clean! We would not hesitate to stay there again. It felt like our own home!

This home is really nice and has everything you could possibly need for a long stay in the Florida warm sunshine. Englewood is a great area. Anita & Roland are personable and just great people. She called us after we booked to make arrangements to meet us at the house to give us keys and information about the house and area. We have only ever experienced communication with owners via e-mail and text. It was great to actually meet and talk to them.The house is really nice and has everything you need. The 2 outdoor spaces are definitely an added bonus. Being from Michigan it was a real treat to be able to set out front in the morning sun with coffee. Late afternoons and evenings on the Lenai as the sun goes down when we weren't out. Back out front after dark under the stars. The property is very private on 3 sides. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept, and the residents are very friendly.Englewood beach was closed from Milton. But it was a short drive to Manasota Key, Venice beach & Gasparilla Island all beautiful & have amazing sunsets. Nice golf courses close by and all kinds of shopping & restaurants just minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Inside and out so well maintained. The hosts are some great fown to earth people. Loved are stay as usual with Anita and Roland. Very comfortable home. So easy to relax in. Also very well kept. Easy to use kitchen, showers and bath. Comfortanle front room and eatting areas. Just a joy to be there. Look forward to coming again.

Genial hosts who provide a house with everything you need for a vacation rental. Bikes, beach umbrellas and chairs, outdoor and patio dining, TVs and DVD player, plenty of towels, and spacious rooms. Quiet, friendly neighborhood near a public library, playground, and tennis courts. Great parks and quaint downtown area.

Could not have been better. Hosts were very nice people. The house was totally furnished with all necessary items to enjoy a restful vacation, which we did. Very highly recommended.

Our 1 month stay at Sunny Side Up Cottage was more than we hoped for! It is true to the description… comfortable beds, the cleanest home we have ever rented on VRBO, well stocked kitchen, 4 bikes to ride in a quiet community, coolers, water toys, beach mats and umbrella, gas grill with full tank.It is a short ride to an Olympic size community pool and to the beaches. Location is east and away from traffic congestion. Everything in the home works! We used our account for YouTube and Netflix. The home is surrounded by lush greenery on 3 sides so you feel secluded from neighbors. There is a home behind the house, but we only saw them a few times. The owners live 5 minutes away and could not be more accommodating! I would highly recommend this gem to all!!

Roland and Anita were fantastic. The home and location were just great. We all enjoyed a great month in Florida. Hopefully we can return next year for another great time. Thank you Roland and Anita for a fantastic time……

Very quiet neighborhood but just minutes from beaches, restaurants, and stores. Used to stay in Bradenton. Will return to Englewood. Much less traffic. House was great. Would have booked for next year, but not available.

The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. One of the best things about the Englewood area is the lack of the usual heavy Florida traffic. Pretty easy to get around. The home has a nice, private setting with really only one house that was visible which happened to be directly in the back facing the lanai. There has been some planting in the back that someday will make a nice visual screen from that house. The weather wasn't as nice as usual so we did not end up using the provided bikes. They looked nice and ready to ride! The house seems fairly new and in great condition. Plenty of cookware and dishes. Roland & Anita were in Germany while we were there but a neighbor was our contact and was super. We only had a couple questions (good restaurants and trash day), and were responded to right away. Could not have asked for better communication throughout the entire process! The lanai was a great place to sit and watch the birds & relax, provided the weather was good. Plenty of starter supplies were available. A few things that could be improved upon would be a cheat sheet on how to use remote, Netflix available but need your own subscription, the 2 chairs at the island could be upgraded (kind of wobbly), a tv in 2nd bedroom would be nice and alarm clocks in bedrooms would also help. Other than those few things, the house is great and we would definitely rent it again. Thanks to Roland & Anita for making it an easy rental!!!
