Stayed Jun 29, 2025A very spacious, clean house with many amenities, including many cookware. We enjoy cooking, so that was a plus. The layout of the house was very unique and provided areas of privacy, work, and relaxation. It's in a very quiet area, surrounded by nature, about 15 min. drive from the more-crowded town. There was a nice small park nearby with tennis/pickle-ball court and children's playground. We enjoyed feeding the barn animals and our grandchild enjoyed seeing frogs in the pond and deer on property too. There is direct access to a nice hiking trail. The caretaker of the property was very friendly and helpful. It's a definite plus for a multi-generational family which includes various range of ages, including adults, young adults and small children.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024We were a grandma, mom, dad, 3 year old and an infant. The house was perfect. The master suite was huge and the family of 4 stayed there. I had a private bath and room upstairs. The house is less than 10 minutes from Kennebunk and the beaches. We ate at a different restaurant each evening. Our hostess went out of her way to provide a Pack 'n Play for the baby. It was greatly appreciated.

Stayed Aug 13, 2023Kate checked in with me several times to make sure we were comfortable and Mike, the caretaker, brought us freshly laid eggs several times. They were delicious! Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed throwing food over the fence for the goats and chicks and geese. The kitchen is well equipped and the sprawling house had great space for our crew of 7 and a dog. Our weather was not good over our week here, but Kate very generously offered us an extra night to stay so we would have a beautiful day at the beach. It was great! One negative is that the mosquitoes are terrible. Peaceful setting in a quirky and comfortable house.

Stayed Aug 13, 2022We had a wonderful time at this lovely house. The kitchen was fantastic and our extended family had a lot of room to spread out. Mike and Katie were extremely responsive during our stay and took good care of us - even dropping off fresh eggs for us to enjoy. Our toddler absolutely adored the goats and we loved the close to everything location. Highly recommend - especially if you have a large group!

Stayed Jul 23, 2022Our family enjoyed this quintessential, rambling farmhouse for a relaxing family trip. The teenagers liked the variety of farm critters, and especially the baby porcupine that visited the meadow daily. The beach parking permits were a bonus. We tried riding bikes and walking on the nature trails. Very scenic, but remember bug spray! Mike, the caretaker, was friendly, informative, and responsive to any questions. We appreciated the fresh farm eggs he dropped off during our stay. This is great place to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the Kennebunkport area.

Stayed Aug 3, 2019I’m reluctant to review this property because I want to keep it a secret for myself. Everything about this magical farm is top notch from start to finish. The buildings are beautiful, the land is breathtaking, the host thought of everything, and the location couldn’t be beat . ... would definitely love to return... Thank you for everything.

Stayed Jul 6, 2019This was a perfect house for 3 cousins, our spouses and our 3 dogs to celebrate 50th birthdays and spend a relaxing week. The property is an older farm house that has been added on to several times, so it looks a bit funky in the pictures, but it really works well. It has three separate and distinct master suites, with full baths, that provided plenty of privacy. The house has a great gathering area with plenty of seating, a long dining table for meals and games, a large flat screen TV with DVD and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need to enjoy your time in the house. Full laundry facilities and A/C in every room added to the convenience. The property is located just a few miles from Dock Square in Kennebunkport and provides easy access to Portland, Wells, York Beach and the rest of the southern Maine coast. Beach parking passes were provided, too, which made day trips to the local beaches a breeze. Katie, the owner, and Mike, the onsite caretaker, greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, making sure that we knew where everything was. When the power went out early one evening due to storms in the area, Mike showed up to see if we had what we needed. Power was restored quickly, but it was nice to have him around. The menagerie of animals were fun, too, and I'm sure would be enjoyed by younger visitors. Trails lead to a local conservation area which we explored and gave us an opportunity to walk our dogs on a daily basis. Because it is located at the end of a private lane, there are no sounds other than the surrounding nature. Very relaxing. We look forward to returning in the future!
