We had an incredible time here. The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. We loved the location and all the trails nearby. Definitely take Cora‘s recommendations for things to do and see because we had so many great meals and experiences that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at this cottage. While located a bit of a ways from Bar Harbor and Acadia, we rather enjoyed our solitude and distance from the crowds. Accomdodation was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for two people. Would highly recommend this to our friends and family. An all around perfect week.

It was such a treat to stay here for several days. Everything was perfect and it was a joy to sit on the deck and look out on the water. The bedding and soap and decor — all fabulous.

We loved staying at this sweet cottage with just the right amount of room and charm. It is cozy without being cramped and is great for two couples or in our case parents and two adult daughters who shared a bed. The real gem is the deck overlooking the water, with a dining table and Adirondack chairs perfect for a morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Perfectly situated between Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula, we highly recommend this gorgeous spot.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Cora's cottage. The view was incredible, the beds were comfortable, and it wasn't too far from Acadia. We would absolutely love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spotless cottage in Maine. The home was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us (and our dog!) was the amazing deck with stunning views—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, with great hiking trails just a short drive away. Peaceful, scenic, and truly relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

We live only an hour away, but wanted a small change of venue. This house was a perfect tonic for a kind of hectic spring so far. Very simple, very uncluttered, everything works. EXACTLY what we were looking for. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a TRUE Maine experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet peaceful cottage, and our puppy was in heaven with so much space to run around. The location is convenient to many great restaurants and stores, and Acadia National Park is less than an hour away. The cottage itself had everything we needed (particularly loved the gorgeous views of the water, and the luxurious shower after long days of hiking:). Cora is an amazing host - very responsive whenever we had a question, and she gave excellent recommendations on nearby places to visit. We'd recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit Maine!

The only thing we didn’t like about our stay at this dreamy little house.. was that it had to end! This was our favorite vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at, the property, location, decor, comfort- all top notch, and it was absolutely spotless! We could not have enjoyed it more, so thankful for our time at this little haven and hope we get to come back some day!

We loved this house & beautiful property! The view is amazing & the cottage lovely. We spent a week exploring the area of Maine and it was so nice to return each day to this magical place. The deer & birds were fun to watch. Restarants in this area were wonderful! Pond hike is the best & only 5 minutes away. We would love to come back someday!

I love coming to this house and wish I could stay longer! Just such a wonderful time in an amazing area filled with amazing people. Perfect getaway and can’t say enough about this place. Very clean, inviting, beautiful and relaxing!

This is a stunning home, perfect for a group of 4. There’s nothing like sleeping with the windows open with the gentle breezes and sounds of the bay below. And there is so much to do and see right around the home and within an hours drive. We enjoyed great adventures in nature, delicious seafood and true relaxation in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. Hope to return someday!

This is a nice small home. If you are a tall person or a bigger person I would say this is not a place for you. The upstairs bedrooms have slanted ceilings and I found myself ducking a lot. Also says it is has air conditioning but not through the vents. There is a unit midway on wall to the upstairs to cool the 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Forget about shutting doors to rooms if you want to stay cool. The bathroom door also does not latch,therefore my Velcro dog could always just lean on it to open it up and come on in. The chairs in living room are made for smaller people and the television is small. No blinds on windows upstairs so you can’t get dressed in your room. I booked this house for four adults. I am so grateful my other couple couldn’t come because it would have been a nightmare! I’m a bit critical because this is one of the most expensive homes I’ve had to pay for on VRBO and probably the least comfortable. The owner is very responsive and definitely aims to please. The family is super nice. The owner is next door and her mother is across the street.This is a very nice little cottage. I just know that if I had this information before, I probably would have stayed somewhere else.

The house was even more charming & quaint in person! We really enjoyed the views and found it to be conveniently located to our vacation activities including Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The host was always quick to respond to any questions and we would definitely rent this house again if we were planning to revisit the area!
