Kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs. Would stay there again if visit Maine again. Had to clean the grill before using . Home could use some window air conditioners-very humid in the home . A screen door on the front door would help to circulate the air. Bar stools were dirty and too short for the bar in the kitchen . We love this place but it needs some TLC.

The cottage is directly on the water and we enjoyed kayaking and simply enjoying the view. We were surprised how well-stocked the kitchen was (being the foodies that we are! There was a food processor and even a lemon reamer (who would have thought!!) that made the meals we did make at home simple. The only thing we could think of that was missing was a cooling rack! We made do though, when we made cookies on one of the cooler days.) We did enjoy biking to an outside meal at Erica's Seafoods nearby. The haddock sandwich was delicious but everyone in our party was disappointed in the clam chowder there. (Higher than average chowder price too.) We also enjoyed exploring Baily's Island and Land's End area. The Cribstone Bridge was a marvel to behold. To think it's the only bridge of its type in the world! If the cottage offered air conditioning (even small window units) we would return in a heartbeat. For anyone who has health issues (i.e. the elderly or anyone with a pulmonary issue) the heat and humidity could be an problem. All the bedrooms are on the second floor so accessibility could be an issue for some too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beautiful sunsets that the location allows are worth the trip from anywhere! Thank you MainStay Vacations for a simple check-in and out process and for the cute customer swag tote!

Far enough from Portland but close to many attractions.

Everything about this property and location were fantastic. The one downside that was inconvenient was the water situation. It is well water which we had been told but it smelled like sulfur. Badly. From every faucet. We used bottled water for mostly everything (brushing teeth, washing up). Some of us chose not to shower...it was that bad.

Although the house was nice, the water was a problem. You could not drink it and it smelled of sewage. This was not good.

No matter whether the tide was in or out , there was still a beach to walk on . This is truly a piece of heaven . We hope to be able to rent this property again next year.

House was easy set up for family to be together. Nice table outside for eating or visiting. Great deck. Easy access to beach. Bed linens and towels were very nice.

The water view and changing tides are such an outstanding and breathtaking experience. The beach is rocky/sandy and not muddy. The hosts are outstanding. We were very comfortable at this house and hope to return there again.

This was the best stay with my family of 5. The communication was great and the property managers were very accommodating to our needs. The view and peacefulness of the house was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.
