Beautiful Ocean view with 35' private seawall, 80' Heated Pool, Hottub

Great place to stay. We loved the location, even though you can hear the road noise from the porch. The place was very clean and the perfect size for two or four people. The heated pool in the community was a nice perk.

This was our first time staying in Cudjoe Key and at Venture Out. We brought our boat and were able to dock it right outside of our house in the canal. The canal water was beautiful in itself! Crystal clear with lots of fish swimming around such as mangrove snapper and parrot fish. Our boys enjoyed jumping in and swimming here. The house was clean (I was expecting it to be humid and musky smelling just because it's Florida and VERY humid). To my surprise, no musky smell and the house was cool and clean. Beds were very comfortable as well. We enjoyed swimming in the Venture Out pool, sitting under the house enjoying the views, and fishing not far from the house. We did not want to leave! We will be making this a yearly trip during the summer.

First day in we had multiple leaks. Contacted the property manager. She said they would send someone right out. Countered an hour later they could not make it because of the rain??? Commented it look like it just the sun window. The 3rd day in a massive construction project started to where we could not park in our sport. Was loved a few hiders feet down the road. Crew would get there at 8 am and start. Was not relaxing at all. Contacted the owner and she said sorry but this is an upgrade they had been waiting for. She was not concerned at all just happy she got our money already and did not care about the inconvenience for us. I would NEVER STAYHERE AGAIN.

Beautiful location and view on the waterfront, also on a deep water canal with a great place to tie up your boat. Fresh water hose, bumpers on the dock for your boat. Easy access to the ocean. The house also had a main deck area, and a deck on the second floor. Living room and kitchen were adequate. The brooms and baths were small but doable. The house needs some work, and needs some small repairs. Rusty shower,, broken living room chair, etc. shower was not very clean, as well as pots and pans in the kitchen. Other than those small items that needed some care, I would recommend the house. I didn’t care for the neighborhood. Way too crowded for my taste. Too many people in the pool for me.

Things we liked: great kitchen, everything I needed. Comfortable beds. Good communication with host. Nice area/community…great for walking. House is in good spot for sitting and enjoying the water go by. Very clean. Close to Square Grouper. Suggestion: update dock furniture…such a beautiful spot deserves a beautiful place to sit!

great place to stay, fantastic host with great communication

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as described. We have stayed in venture out many times before so we are very aware of the resort rules. If you have not stayed here before I would highly recommend reading through their rules. Their rules are fair, but it is very important to understand items such as vehicle parking and trailer parking. Really enjoyed the quick access to the main channel this house offers. Also nice to have a bait freezer available. The house was very clean and was well equipped this house could use, just a little bit of cosmetic updating but all in all a great place to stay.

We visit the lower Keys every year. While we’ve stayed on other islands occasionally, we always come back to Cudjoe Key and Venture Out. We’ve stayed in Barbara’s unit at least twice and it always meets expectations. The bait freezer is a great asset and this time there were two coffee makers: one drip and one k-cup style. Plenty of linens and towels for our family of 6, and a clean, comfortable place to be.
