The photos for this property are taken from the real estate sites that listed it for sale and the ad posting changed after we booked. So, we didn’t get a hot tub experience (no hot tub) and there aren’t any laundry facilities on site. The backyard doesn’t have seating or a chiminea. The ad no longer reflects these amenities, which is good for the next party. The house is nice. It gives off a bit of a creepy vibe upon entering, what with the super dusty chandelier, old broken piano, and squeaky floors. We discovered you can walk down the hallway without it squeaking if you place each foot near the baseboards and walk like you’re riding a horse. The wall going down to the basement appears to have water damage, but I’m not an expert. The basement is an interesting space. It’s was freezing cold down there when we rented it. There’s an electric fireplace, but nobody could figure out how to turn it on. We stayed out of that area. The master bedroom is decorated quite nicely. The fitted sheet as a table cloth is an interesting touch and the large mirrors on all 4 walls kind of made me wonder untiI I was informed by a family member that when mirrors are set up that way, they are called a “portal to hell”, so I learned something new (Google it). The artwork on the walls is eclectic. There’s some abstract art, some naval influences, trees. It was a comfortable place to stay, all in all. Price is too high with fees though. Not a whole house, there are other apts built in.
