Beautiful New Home Overlooking breathtaking Lake Burton

We had a wonderful stay at Carson's home overlooking Lake Burton. Lovely and peaceful area, with so much to do - close to the charming downtown of Clayton and all the possible outdoor activities you could want. Truly beautiful locale and Carson's responsiveness was top notch. The house itself is very comfortable, with tasteful finishes and decor. We felt safe and centrally located (we travelled back and forth to SC and NC several times). Thank you, Carson, for a most enjoyable stay that did not disappoint! Would return and recommend to others. :)

Highly recommend!! Carson was an amazing host and extremely attentive. The house itself is very easy to find and has plenty of space inside and outside on the huge covered patio. A huge plus was the beautiful lake view you can easily see from the patio that also has a built in gas fireplace. You can also see the lake from most of house while inside as well. It’s a great location on Lake Burton and close to Anchorage Marina and the Lake Burton Market for good food and basic groceries.

Fabulous location and views of Lake Burton. The house was perfect and the porch was amazing with a huge fireplace, lots of seating and a large TV - great for Football watching. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend.

Absolute gem in the woods overlooking Lake Burton and the base of Goat Cliff. Carson was a great host and made everything seamless.

The house is very roomy, new and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Convenient to Anchorage Marina and The Farmhouse.

Beautifully designed, decorated & provisioned home with outstanding indoor and outdoor living spaces, location and views.Our host was exceptionally accommodating and responsive to our every need and request making the experience unbeatable. Definitely will look at this property again for future occasions. New, clean, maximally supplied, amazing lake view on the ultimate deck; Great room is spacious, comfortable; fully fitted with large screens as well as fireplaces inside and out. Hard to beat.

Wonderful property and great views of Lake Burton. Charming area and very lovely home with great outdoor space to enjoy the cool mountain/lake air. Homeowner was very easy to work with and communication at check in/check out was very easy. This is a spacious home and great for 1-2 families. Easy to town and to a variety of hikes and activities. I personally loved walking our dog up the hill each morning and around meeting mountain road to Timpson Cove. The views are incredible and the roads were safe to walk/run on with very light traffic. The lake was absolutely beautiful and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property and this area.

This is a great house. The decks and views are amazing. The outside fireplace wasn't working when we are there, when that is fixed the deck will be perfect!

Our family had a wonderful visit. We spent a week for birthday and Christmas celebrations! Carson was super accommodating and checked in on us regularly. It was a perfect spot for family time together with plenty of room for everyone!

What a beautiful property this is! The house is immaculate and has all the things you would need to enjoy your time here. The expansive covered back deck with a great lake view was where I wanted to spend all my time. The owner was attentive, responsive and extremely helpful in providing recommendations to make our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. We will 100% be renting this place again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The huge back covered deck with large screen TV was perfect for watching football games and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. It's very secluded yet very accessible to Clayton. Great internet. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay in this home! House is clean with comfortable beds, well-stocked. Had everything we needed to cook meals. Great living space with lake view from the deck. Our kids had a blast and enjoyed the toys and books that were there. There were even bed rails we were able to use for my 2 year old. Excellent communication from host. We hope to come back soon!

This house was amazing- in every aspect. Well stocked with very nice things and really clean. The beds were comfortable. We could have lived on the outside decks of this house. We watched a football game, drank morning coffee and enjoyed a cocktail or two as well as napped on the deck.

My wife and I had an awesome time at this property. The back deck is amazing and has a great view of Lake Burton. The house was very private, clean, and modern. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Local marinas and hiking trails only a short drive away. Town of Clayton just a few minutes drive as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
