BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN HOME RETREAT, SILVER MOUNTAIN IDAHO - Sleeps 8

This is our second time staying here. The location is great, nice quiet neighborhood and easy to get to, short walk downtown. This time things didn’t feel as clean as our first visit, dusty surfaces, linen closet a bit of a mess, little things like that.

Host was very communicative and house exactly as advertised. Homey and cozy. A wonderful place for our family to be able to relax together.

Kitchen was great. Lots of items to use in the walk in pantry! Reliable laundry facilities. Four roomy bedrooms. Very cool living, dining rooms. All of the old wood and joinery was fun to admire (we enjoy older historic houses). If this place was for sale in 1992 we would have tried to buy it!

Room for bikes and gear. Great place to stop for the night!

This home was roomy with a nice kitchen. Unfortunately, the house was not clean upon our arrival. Every surface had to be cleaned by us. There were crumbs on the floor and cobwebs in various places. The carpets and floors were dirty. There were no soap or haircare products in the bathrooms so we had to get our own. The toilets had pee, hair and dirt at the base like they forget to clean there. The house did have a washer and dryer in the basement which was nice. The advertised ping pong table had to be set up by us and the air hockey table did not work. The bedrooms had nice window air units but the rest of the house had fans so there were hot spots in the house. There was a nice large dining room table with chairs and a small kitchen table with a few chairs that we appreciated. Other than the mentioned problems, the house was large and accommodated our group of seven very easily.

We came out to ride the Hiawatha and just enjoy the area. We had a great time. The home is comfortable and the host was wonderful and easy to communicate with.

House is clean, spacious and has older style charm. Lots of space for teens and adults to do their own thing. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a few minor issues, but the host was quick to respond and resolve them. It is a great place with space for everyone to have. It’s not as stocked with kitchen items like we’ve had in other houses, but other parts exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back.

This house was older with delightful little corners and old-fashioned charms, but it also came with some of the less-charming aspects of older houses: creaking floors and doors, never an outlet where you need one, the inability to regulate the temperature due to a lack of central air, tubs that were never meant to be showers, no smart TV, and a creepy basement entrance... Lots of good things, too: The kitchen was updated, which was lovely! And the house is definitely roomy! The kitchen was also stocked with plenty of dishes to use, a dishwasher, paper towels, and linens. The neighborhood was quiet, the town was gorgeous! We biked and hiked and just relaxed.

It was good other than having to go in through the garage. Going in after dark was kind of scary.

The stay was to visit a Bro. who is battling cancer and only has a very short time left, we felt we needed to go up from Utah to say our goodbyes while he still knew us. We spent the late evening and early mornings at the home but it was a wonderful place for us to all be together and reminisce about life and love and how we were all going to get through this, we will definitely be bak

We loved the home. It is a charming older home with so much character. Made me want to move to Kellog. Plenty of space for our party. I only wish we had more vacation time. Communication was a breeze, and we had no issues during our stay.

The home was well appointed and had all the necessary kitchen items - roomy and AC for all rooms was great. Thanks for such a nice stay. Cheers, Kraig
