Beautiful Mid Century Hideaway - featured in New York Times Desert Cool

This home is in an amazing location close to downtown Palm Springs. The house was clean and comfortable and the backyard was amazing.

Our stay in Palm Springs at this wonderful property was memorable, relaxing, and carefree. Marcel was the perfect host from the moment we first inquired about availability until after our departure. Location is so convenient and close to PSP airport, downtown shopping and restaurants, supermarket, nearby casinos and attractions, etc. (but we really spent most of the time at home base!) The house itself is understated but so comfortable and filled with every amenity. The overall property is magnificent: the pool and hot tub were heated to the perfect temperature at all times and both are meticulously maintained! Tasteful landscaping and accent lighting around the property. A peaceful and romantic setting which still felt like home away from home. Enjoyed cooking on the very efficient and modern outdoor grill and in the pizza oven. Indoor water pressure and temperature and A/C were never a problem. Marcel provided instructions on everything in and around the house, and offered suggestions for local dining and activities. He never disturbed us but he immediately responded to our few texts, e-mails, or phone calls when we had a question. His hospitality and attention to detail will not disappoint guests.

Love this property. Beautiful and private. Lovely pool and yard. So many amenities-pizza oven, bbq, lovely hot tub. Quiet street with great location. Marvel was so friendly with great communication. Really appreciated the opportunity for early check-in and late check-out. We’ll be back.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for 9 days. Our first time to Palm Springs. The home is wonderful and has a warm charm and character. Kitchen is fully stocked and the backyard is absolutely beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the pool, played some ping pong and crocket. Great location and close to downtown with all the amazing restaurants. Highly recommend this home and the host (Marcel) was wonderful!!

The stay was very nice, the pool and hot tub were great.

This house was everything as advertised. Just a great house with a specatular outdoor area as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make great meals. The outdoor grill has a searing element that made grilling steaks or chicken extra special. The hot tub/spa is beyond spectacular. Our host, Marcel, was the most responsive host we have ever had and we do a lot of VRBO bookings. There were a few minor hiccups, some of my own doing like losing the house key, and he responded within minutes of my text always in a patient and helpful way. We already booked next years trip we were so delighted.

Marcel is a great host. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend choosing this home.

This was the ideal Palm Spring home. Quiet, comfortable and functional. The house was great and provided the relaxed getaway we were hoping for.

Loved our 2 wk stay. The yard and the pool were perfect for lazy afternoons after morning desert adventures. Location made it easy to head North to Joshua Tree & other desert hiking areas - but also super connected to downtown dining and shopping. Host was super responsive before & during our stay.

What a great home to enjoy a week of 80 degree weather around a pool. Everything is well stocked. Communication with the host is fantastic. The home is truly mid century so it’s a bit of a step back in time. And the outdoor setting around the pool gazing at the mountains against blue sky is life affirming.

The home was excellent for our family of four. The pool, hot tub and back yard space was perfect and allowed us to enjoy the Palm Springs weather. Home is in a quiet neighborhood but very close to Palm Spring downtown. Marcel, the VRBO was great and provided excellent recommendations.

We loved everything. The house, the decorating, the large and private yard, the location.Communication with the owner was perfect and they were super attentive throughout our stay.
