Beautiful Long Range Mountain Views, Minutes from Downtown Hendersonville, NC

Gorgeous long range mountain views. Beautiful, comfortable 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Bathroom was huge. Quiet serene place. Host was most accommodating, supplying everything i asked for. He responds promptly. Recommended an excellent tire repair shop when i needed one.

Magical wonderful home away from home; best place we have ever stayed in the mountains!

Loved the property and the views! My wife and I didn’t want to leave. This place is very special!

My sister and I stayed for a sisters getaway weekend and couldn't believe what a gorgeous view we had! Absolutely stunning view of a peaceful meadow, brilliantly colored fall foliage, and the mountains in the background. We had the entire 3-bedroom apartment downstairs to ourselves, with spacious bedrooms, clean, modern bathroom and kitchenette, and a large living area. The owner was gracious and communicated well - check-in and checkout was a breeze. Couldn't have asked for a more lovely visit, and if you're looking for a peaceful retreat, I highly recommend this place.

This place is a true gem. It was a delight to stay at this beautiful home. You will not be disappointed. We have never had such a spacious, lovely place to stay in on our trips before. Clean and beautifully accommodated. The best part is the magnificent view from the front porch. This made our trip very memorable! Thank you, Nathan for your hospitality. This property is ideally located to the hiking trails. The views are out of this world. The wild life is definitely there as we saw a bunch of turkeys. The only thing I would improve is a small stove for long term staying. There is an outdoor grill and Microwave, but from my experiences in vacation rentals, a stove would be nice. The property is EXTREMELY peaceful and I slept well. It’s like someone prayed over that place with the peaceful sleep I had. If I happen to visit the area again, I would out this property on the top of my list to stay again. Really is peaceful and healing there.

Great place to stay. Friendly owner! We were on a golf tril and unexpectedly he has a green to chip too at 120 yrds with a golf mat for chipping. Also supplied us with plenyy of balls to hit. House is exclean and the views are awsome! Will definitely be going back.

This is an excellent home and host!!! Could not be more satisfied with the reservation and the response from the host. Could not ask for any better! So clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and so very peaceful !!! Sitting on the porch with coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings was absolutely delightful!! Enjoyed watching the deer, turkeys and goats were fun! Will always be our go to destination in Hendersonville —- especially for us “grandmama’s”!! Nathan was SUPER!!

Such a unique and beautiful location - great host - goats were so fun - mountain climbing and golf - always love staying here!

We stayed here for a one night weekend trip and it was the perfect place to crash for the night. Very clean and the fire pit was great to unwind at. Coffee pods and a Keurig were available and the front porch morning view was beautiful.

I personally did not go but my daughter and her family stay for 2 nights. She stated the accommodations were spacious and clean. The small kitchenette was sufficient for a family. Disappointed that the description of property did not mention it was a basement apartment. Overall though the stay was nice. Thank you

Great place to stay

Excellent stay. Enjoyed a holiday get away with our family. The place was clean, the views were stunning, and the amenities made the stay fun for everyone. The kids loved the golf, the games, and the arcade basketball. Hendersonville has plenty to see and do. Looking forward to returning!

Beautiful house, spectacular view, and very comfortable. The instructions from the host was very helpful and clear. We had a fun stay and will definitely use again when we are in the Asheville/Hendersonville area.

The property was everything it claimed to be. We had no difficulties communicating with the host and we had everything we needed. Parking was a bit tight for the two cars we brought, so be careful to park wisely so you have room to turn around.

Warm and inviting home. We loved the sunrise view in the morning with all the wildlife coming. We sat in the rocking chairs, with our coffee and enjoyed the view. It was a bit chilly, so when we came back inside we sat by the fire to warm up

Beautiful home with breath taking views. Very well maintained and private. We enjoyed the room to move around and the comforts of home.

The views were incredible and it never felt like you were in the basement of a home. It felt very private and was extremely cozy with the fireplace going. Everything was fantastic! The only thing was that there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, so we had to make sure to get some! Otherwise, it was excellent and would Highly recommend.

The view is incredible and visiting with the baby goats was such a treat!! The beds are comfortable but the bathroom is on the far side of the unit from 2 of the bedrooms. The gas fireplace was so nice since it was so cold and rainy! Check in was a breeze and host was available for questions. This would be an absolute top notch listing with a few updates.

It was a last minute booking and the host gave us all the information that we needed. The view was amazing and we had a nice quiet relaxing stay.

Such a beautiful house and location. Clean however, could tell there were some Halloween celebrations the weekend before. Collected a lot of beads, sequins, and googly eyes in living room. Amenities were great and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house with VRBO on lower level. Clean & comfortable, nice porch with long range view of mountains & Ashville. Short drive up a dirt road, but not hard & host gave good directions.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, beautiful views, and really loved the fairway and tee box. Also enjoyed hanging with the goats!

In the words of my granddaughter, Best Place Ever! Nathan is a fantastic host. Adults will love the view, and kids will love the kid's room basketball hoops and the goats.

My husband and I stayed here last week for 4 nights. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The view is unbelievable. It has a TV but not needed, we would sit and just watch the fireplace at night. My husband loved the golf range and I loved the goats. Downtown Hendersonville is 10 minutes away and has wonderful restaurants great shopping.Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with others.

Amazing place on the high ground with stunning mountain views. We were only in for an overnight and I wished we had more time to enjoy the goats, the views, and especially the 1 hole golf hole! Got a chance to meet Nathan, the owner, who was great. Easy process from start to finish.

Great location with beautiful view. Goats and golf were an added bonus. No hairdryer in the bathroom (should have brought my own). Definitely felt like staying in someone’s house (which you are staying in their basement so you could hear them above which was a different experience from past VRBO rentals).

Even better than the pictures show. Great view, plenty of space, and perfectly clean. Able to use both the fire pit and the inside gas logs. Girls enjoyed seeing the goats and playing miniature golf. Host was a gentleman with clear instructions.

Nathan has this very well kept and the location can't be beat! Plus, what other VRBO has baby goats on the property?!? Just one of the many perks besides the view, the area in general, and the chipping green!

Very scenic and convenient to our family in Etowah.

The place was lovely. Perfect for our overnight stay. Convenient to town. The views were beautiful. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the hike to Jump Off Rock from the property. I’d rate the hike as short (took us less than 20 minutes) but definitely moderate in spots. (Not a leisurely stroll). We’d definitely recommend Nathan’s place.

Gorgeous setting and responsive host

Place was cute, quiet and spacious. Would recommend for those traveling through or to Hendersonville or surrounding areas.

We enjoyed staying here. Definitely make sure you have a AWD vehicle bc some of the roads gps takes you on are rough.

My kids loved our short one night stay. They hit golf balls for an hour when we arrived. In the morning we enjoyed the flock of turkeys! Beds were very comfortable and plenty of space.

Quiet spot with a lot of wildlife. Nice accommodations, but plan to eat out. Kitchen area works fine for morning coffee and snacks. Everyone in our crew enjoyed it and the close proximity to the best mountain biking spots in WNC.

Stunning property! Seen wildlife multiple times daily from the house! Host was wonderful with checking in just enough to ensure we didn’t need anything but not to much! We look forward to many more trips up and staying at this same location! We are already planning our next trip!!

Though the road to arrive at the location was a bit bumpy due to hurricane damage, the view from the top was phenomenal! We enjoyed the hike to Jump Off Rock. The home provided a very comfortable stay. Conveniently located near Henderson and a pleasant drive to NC Arboretum, Sierra Nevada and Asheville.

If you want an escape from all the hussle and bussle this is absolutly the place to go. The place was spotless, the beds was super comfortable. The only thing i wish was in the unit was a stove and a washer and dryer

We were staying in the area for work, so just needed the comfortable space to work and the bedrooms so it was a perfect fit.

Our stay was just one night, and it was wonderful. Beautiful home, everything just as described, great communication and very easy check in. House was clean and spacious. The view is amazing! Three deer greeted me in the morning!

I give this 4 stars and not 5 for only a single reason. The description is missing two key points of info. 1. This is a basement for rent and not a full house. People do live just up the stairs. 2. There is not a kitchen if you’re thinking of cooking. Only a mini fridge and a microwave with a small sink. That worked for me for my trip, but was unexpected when we arrived and could have been a planning issue. The owner was responsive and a great guy. Would recommend genuinely for a quiet stay.

We had a last-minute opening in our schedule, so we booked right away. After seeing the 10/10 reviews, I was really excited to show my parents the beautiful fall colors and some wildlife! Nathan, the owner, was very kind and sent us updated directions since the usual road was damaged by the hurricane. But overall, it wasn’t bad at all. Just 30 minutes after we arrived, a family of five deer and four wild turkeys wandered into the front yard! The rental is on the first floor with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath, all super clean and much nicer than the photos on the site. Our 5-year-old son even said, ‘I want to stay here forever!’ Needless to say, we’ll definitely be back soon.

We loved this property so much we added an additional night onto our initial stay, which I reviewed preciously. Wonderful host, wonderful communicator, a+ property. Will be back!

Clean, easy process great views

I cannot say enough great things about this property and the owners. From booking until the moment we left it was a dream Vrbo experience. The owner is very quick to respond and offered great suggestions for dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the fireplace was lovely. We also utilized the games and fire pit and the views were outstanding. We 10/10 recommend this property and will be back!

When driving to this home, and you feel you are getting to the top of the world, just keep driving and you will be there.

This is our second stay here, and the view was just as lovely as the last time. The owners are very responsive and make the stay very comfortable. The only issue we experienced was that when we pulled in, we noticed a giant mudslide that looked like it had recently happened. Seeing how close the slide was to taking the house, at least to a layman like me, was a little disconcerting. We hope everything works out because we love this house, and everyone should be able to enjoy those views!

Just all round the perfect place to stay with a view but also still be so close to town and all the trails. Saw some wild turkey in the field too.

We came with our daughter and grandson for a night as we were traveling back from Gaitlinburg and visiting other family members in Hendersonville. This place is absolutely beautiful. We had a very nice stay. The view is absolutely stunning.

Enough space

Great view from lower level. Know going in there is no kitchen. Mini fridge and microwave is all. Also know you are renting the bottom of the house. But, for the price it was a win.

We loved the house as it's sitting on a little hill with an amazing view of the distant city. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. It's a hidden jewel in the mountain.

Everything was super! The beds were comfortable, linens were great, bathroom was well equipped. We were also very lucky to see several animals including a momma bear and 2 cubs!!

We were there just for the night, but would definitely make a return trip if we were in the area again. They made it amazingly easy to check in and had plenty to do!
