Had a lovely stay at this cottage close to Sunapee. Plenty of space for myself and kids. Kitchen had all we needed and we stayed warm and dry after skiing and during a rainy day. Beautiful sunrise over the lake. Would love to visit in the summer!
Comfortable, well appointed property in a beautiful setting.
This is a nice little place right on the water. The house itself is dated, but the amenities and furniture are not worn and are comfortable. I dinged one star for cleanliness only because there were cobwebs in many corners and the hot water had a bit of an odor, kind of like a mild campground smell. Otherwise, the place contained a nice array of games and toddler toys, as well as infant/toddler books so my kids were well entertained. I was delightfully surprised to find a range of lifejackets for use with the canoe/kayaks and we were able to take our young children out on the lake, which was a highlight of the trip! It was easy to find the place, plenty of parking space, and the host was very communicative. Plenty of towels, blankets, sheets and a crib available. Short drive to a few restaurants, Mt. Sunapee and towns for activities. Warner had a nice Fall Festival we attended, as well as a fun telephone museum that our kids (and I!) loved. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit but I would stay here again and it would be lovely to sit by the fire and look out on the water.
Small lake very quiet. The sunrise is a spectacular the stars in the evening or even better. The fishing was great large mouth bass, pickerel and yellow perch. A canoe and kayaks made things fun. Great house well equipped
Our family had a wonderful stay on Todd Lake. The lake was warm and fairly shallow, which was perfect for our 6 year old. There were kayaks and a canoe. We had our own boats, but the small kayaks were good to tug along our son too explore the blueberry-covered islands. Location was good to visit Sunapee and Wadleigh State Parks. We visited a science museum in Vermont on a rainy day, which was better than expected. Only issue was the smoke detector in the kitchen. It went off nearly every time we cooked, including once when we were only cooking toast.
Our stay was great. The property is situated on a lake that is a nice intimate size and doesn’t have all the high boat traffic that a larger lake typically has. The house is rustic, gives a feeling of being at camp yet possess many comforts of home. The property owner was very responsive. The primary bed was fairly comfortable. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We would be happy to stay again and would recommend.
Rustic style home with spectacular views on Todd lake. Enjoyed lots of fishing, kayaking, hiking-daily visits from a family of ducks and relaxing by the fire. Ryan was great with the detailed instructions prior to our arrival and when we encountered a few hiccups he was responsive. This is the perfect place if you want to kick back, relax and make memories.
This was a very cute little cabin on the water. We really enjoyed the ability to kayak or canoe and spent both nights around the campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Although we came I. The spring and the water was still a bit cold we all want to come back for a weekend in the summer to really enjoy the lake :)
The house was so cute, beautiful lake views, very quiet and serene, also the owners were extremely communicative and friendly!! I’d definitely go back!!
Well managed and clean
Was exactly what we were looking for - clean, lakefront, good proximity to ski area and very helpful owner.
House was perfect for our stay with our son, daughter in law, and 3 year old granddaughter. The lake view was stunning. Everything was perfect. We will be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin! So relaxing and beautiful scenery each morning!
The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Could not ask for a better location. The small lake was very charming. In the second week of October we were the only people on the lake. Made the canoeing oh so enjoyable. The fall foliage was spectacular. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage. It was the perfect place for a quick get-a-way for us. Amanda and Ryan were the perfect hosts.
Peaceful weekend on a beautiful lake! We enjoyed having the steps down into the lake for the kids and kayaking out to the islands. House was comfortable and well appointed. Communication with hosts was superb. Great area as well. Close to all the Mt. Sunapee region has to offer and great food minutes from the cabin.
We had a lovely 3 days and all was comfortable and inviting. Kayaks were a lot of fun and we loved that there is a family of loons on the lake.
Great time
The property was very well equipped and the view was spectacular
This house has all the lake equipment you could ask for and it has a beautiful patio to sit and enjoy a fire in the fire pit or watch the boats go by. The beds were extremely comfortable and supportive, which is something I must have when I travel. The host was extremely attentive to our needs and returned my messages promptly! I was disappointed in not having air conditioning, especially when we had a day of 99 degrees. The numerous fans did not cool it off. Other than the AC it was a very pleasant trip for us!
The house and location was just amazing! The lake is very clean and so much fun for kids. Kayaking and fishing !!! The house was neat and clean. Checking in was so easy!
