Beautiful lakefront retreat

The location was great in a no wake zone so we were able to swim and float around dock! We had a great time!

Beautiful house with a big yard! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The dock was nice our kids had fun swimming off the dock & we also caught tons of fish. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. This is definitely the place. Only problem we had was accessing the wi-fi but other than that top notch place.

Five of us girls getting away for a weekend. House was comfortable and cute! Quiet neighborhood with great view of the lake.

The house and the property is everything we expected. It appears to be recently remodeled; everything appears to be new and everything works. Ample kitchen, dining area and den for watching TV/Movies on a large screen. TV's in all 3 bedrooms. Covered carport in case of rain (which we did get the day after Thanksgiving.) The private pier on the lake is big enough for plenty of deck chairs for a family/friends gathering. The neighborhood is very quiet and the adjoining lots are big enough so you hardly notice the neighbors. The master bedroom is oversized so you could have a crib or cot for infants if needed and you won't be cramped at all. The master closet is very large. One guest room has a queen and the other has 4 bunkbeds. The master bath is a little small. There's also a wine fridge for about 2 dozen bottles, which came in very handy over Thanksgiving! I can't think of any negatives.

Perfect amount of space for two families. Caught a lot of fish right off the backyard and the neighbors were nice, even gave us a deal to tour the lake in their pontoon. Paddle boat was a nice bonus, and loved that they had PFDs available for kids use. The neighbors dock lights were extremely bright and the master and living room either didn't have any or not a sufficient amount of curtains to block out the lights or give privacy. The check in system to get on property is a little tedious but worth it if you try to not leave and come back frequently. Overall, I would recommend this house and this area in general. Beautiful lake, great to swim in too!

House was great! The only issue was getting through the gate at the entrance. Long lines and guard didn’t have our info.

We wanted a change in scenery for Spring Break. This was only a 90-minute drive for us so getting away wasn't exhausting. Our teen hasn't been vaccinated yet so we are still concerned about Covid. We enjoyed the many restaurant patios so we felt Completely safe. We went to Glen Rose one day and had fun climbing Big Rocks and just seeing the sights.

We had a wonderful stay and look forward to going back.

Loved this house for a boys weekend. The bedrooms were well set up to sleep 8 adults comfortably. Looked to be recently redone bathrooms. Well set up kitchen for most cooking. Driveway was plenty of Parking for a few trucks and a boat. Pretty far from our usual “roughing it”. 5 minutes from the boat launch, 15ish minutes from two grocery stores. Over all the house and dealings with the owner were great. Only request that could make the weekend any easier would have been a few tie off points for a boat near the water. Super close the boat launch so obviously wasn’t much hassle.
