Beautiful Lakefront Home ~ Outstanding Sunsets ~ Includes Hot Tub!

We loved our stay Oct. 30 - Nov. 2 ! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The weather didn’t cooperate with our outside plans (windy and cold), so wr didn’t take advantage of the outside grill, fire pits, and fishing equipment that were available. The only thing we can suggest is that they provide some fluffier pillows as the ones provided were very flat, no matter how many we stacked. (I bought a $12 pillow at Walmart and left it) l. Winneconne is a cute little town that you’ll drive through before you get to the property. We frequented the KwikTrip, Jackie’s, and Woodeye’s during our visit. There is also an Ace Hardware and a Piggly Wiggly located in town as well. The Master Bedroom, full bath with walk-in closet, half-bath, eat-in kitchen, office, laundry room, and living room are located on the main floor. (We loved the gas fireplace in the living room, as well.)The additional 2 bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. The owners were very responsive to us and sent us a very sweet message after our stay! We look forward to staying at this location again next year, if it it's available (and I’ve never said that before)!

We absolutely love this property. The view is beautiful, the hot tub is relaxing. I love listening to the waves hit the shore. We have stayed here 8 times already and can’t wait to come back. The house is huge and we love the convience of the 3 bathrooms. Chris is very easy to contact and responds right away. Could not recommend this place enough!

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The photos do not do this place justice, so beautiful!! Very spacious and cutely decorated. Chris was very available if you needed anything and friendly. This was the perfect place to stay for my birthday. I am so glad I found it. You cannot beat the view of the lake from the hot tub. I cannot wait to stay here again!

We greatly enjoyed this property for a 4 night stay in March! The home was inviting and provided all needed accommodations. The hot tub, lake view, and proximity to Supper Clubs made our stay fabulous!

Stay was great.

Inside was very clean and welcoming. We booked during cold weather so we didnt use any outdoor amenities. Great spot for a short getaway. Only thing we didn't like were the beds. The mattresses were very uncomfortable upstairs. Other than that we had a great weekend stay at this beautiful home.

Wonderful location, right on the lake which was amazing. The lake was frozen solid and could watch folks driving across the lake and ice fishing right from the living room. Plenty of room, house was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and hang out. The hot tub was a must for our daughter who was celebrating her birthday and that did not disappoint. Not a lot close by but we did all our shopping on the way in so not an issue for us. Great Stay and would definitely stay again!

The house was a perfect set up for our girls weekend. We had plenty of room for all of us. One room with the bunk was not used, as the bed was very noisy anytime one moved. Couch was used as back up. Would have given a 5 star if the hot tub would have been in working order. Hot tub wouldn't get above 95 which was bummer since that is why we booked place. Over all had a great weekend getaway.

This was a great place to stay in the winter! We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub and sitting by the fireplace. It was also nice to be able to park in the garage. The house has everything we needed for our stay and was spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

This house has the perfect amount of space for our girl's weekend. There are 5 of us and this is our 4 year of renting. We love the amazing view of the lake.

This place is beautiful and so cozy! My whole family loved the home and the view of the was amazing - perfect for sunrise and sunset. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook all meals. Plenty of towels and bedding. The fireplace was the perfect touch. We definitely intend to return!

Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood, gorgeous lake view from every room in the house. Comfortable furniture, hot tub was actually hot! The house provided everything we were looking for in a quick little weekend get away. Our dogs had a great time swimming in the lake. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

My family had a wonderful time at the Winneconne lakefront property. The house could use a little extra cleaning, but overall out stay was wonderful! would recommend!

What a lovely family-type home! Very clean and cozy. Room to breathe. Nicely decorated. Great lake view. You can tell many happy memories have been made here---including our own. The private dock was a definite advantage. We swam and paddle-boarded around the lake, then sat out to look at the stars at night. There was also the leisurely soak in the hot tub on the porch for the adults while the kids searched for tree frogs. Lake Poygan is not very deep (less than 6 feet most places), which was fine with us! Still a great recreational lake which was abuzz with activity over Labor Day, what with all the pontoon boats and wave runners going back and forth. Then on Tuesday, after the holiday, we only saw two boats all day. There was enough room in the backyard for our small grandchildren and a very well-mannered standard poodle to roughhouse while Grandma lounged looking at the lake. The neighborhood is comprised of other homes and older cottages on a gravel road separated from county road traffic—friendly neighbors on either side of us during our stay. We did our best to be good house guests, so hopefully the owner will let us come back! LOL

Needs some landscaping maintenance, house was tidy but yes alot of cobwebs on celings.The futon is ripped and not useable for extra bed as stated in listing.If bringing a boat be ready for tight maneuvering w trailer to get to launch and then to house,really bad pothole road.Great lake,very shallow.

Great home , clean and convenient . Beautiful updated kitchen too . Dock is very nice to swim off of , lots of water toys plus a fire ring that we used . Had a very nice time . My grandson left his Snoopy dog there and Chris was gracious to us and mailed it back

Pictures are not accurate or current. House is dirty, yard is overgrown and full of weeds, facial hair and makeup on pillowcases, dead bugs inside of dresser, clogged sink.

We had a great stay. Home was super clean, price is excellent. Some things had some deferred maintenance (cobwebs on vaulted ceiling, broken back on dock chair, ripped Lily pad, broken dresser with glass panes in bunk room, yards in need of weeding, futon in disrepair, and LOTS of bugs on windows), but is the end of the high season which may explain much of it. Wi-Fi for streaming in main room is spotty, but master bedroom worked perfectly. It's in a super quiet area but near lots. The water was a lovely temperature and has a silty but unweedy bottom. The kids loved swimming in it and loved the Lily pad even with the rip. Sunsets and sunrises were both stunning. I'd come back but my mother (visited with my parents and kids) isn't as gentle a reviewer so we shall see if I convince her.

Very quiet and nice property

The house was clean for the most part, beds were comfortable, nice kitchen and hot tub. The boat lift was a big plus. The outdoor area was very overgrown, weedy and dirty. The promised Lilly Pad was torn and unusable, so was the futon which we counting on for an extra bed. All in all we had a great family vacation though.

Beautiful place to spend the weekend! Everything you need all in one place

Very nice house with everything you need. Internet was pretty slow and at times not able to watch online movies. Pier worked out well but only left boat in one night. Farmer down the road only charged a couple of bucks to lunch and I was able to leave my truck and boat there over night. No place to park them at the house or turn them around. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great lowkey girls' weekend at this lakehouse! The house had everything we needed and the water was great to swim and hang out in. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our vacation again this year at this home on the lake. The weather wasn't our friend as it rained quite a bit, but was very thankful for the working boat lift!

Could use a little cleaning up outside.

Everything was near perfect on the property, only bad thing is the dock was not installed. I had to launch my boat every day. The host did give me a discount, but i could only give a good 4 not an excelent 5 rating.

Beautiful location. Some dishes may have needed wash, but dishwasher hard to start.

The house was amazing. The views of the lake and the sunsets were beautiful. The homeowner is super friendly. Great little town nearby with one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to. Even got to see an albino deer driving into town. The whole experience was really good. I would definitely rent this place again.

Fantastic! Home has everything you need for your stay, and more. Fireplace and hot tub are a great a bonus! Communication with the owners was always available and check in/check out was very easy. Highly recommend!

We booked this house primarily because of hot tub (mid January) however when we arrived it spoiled the whole picture - the house was very cozy and clean but the hot tub was so dirty that nobody even thought about touching the water in it. When we informed the owner he said that the cleaner had put chemicals in the water and there was nothing he could do about all the dirt and grease in the tub. He said the options were that he would refund a small percentage of the total sum as a courtesy or we could leave and get refunded fully. We did not drive all that way to just return back and ruin our weekend plans so we decided to stay. Except the hot tub situation, It was a good stay in general with the cozy house offering almost everything you would need. I would still recommend this house but I would advice you to contact the host beforehand make sure if the hot tub is clean if it is your priority too.

We were only there for a few days for my cousin’s winter wedding in Green Bay. It was perfect for the 5 of us. My husband and father were both highly disappointed they didn’t have time to go ice fishing.

We had good time here. This house had enough space and was equipped well for living and kids loved a bunker bed. We enjoyed beautiful view through windows in the morning. The house was very clean.

Having been the second time I have booked a lake front property in Wisconsin, this one has been far above the other. And I do not in any way mean that as a negative for the first trip my family had. On the contrary, this property was just even more exceptional. We stayed during the winter time right before Christmas and the views of the lake are breathtaking. The drive in along the roads and seeing the snow on the pines were incredible as well. We love Wisconsin and its charms and this property will be one I hope to book again! Exceptional property! Love the old poster in the sitting area/foyer.

This Lake House is beautiful! Quiet location, lake front, and close to town. This house has everything you need for comfort. We enjoyed the hot tub on a cool evening. Looking forward to return!

What a wonderful place to gain perspective. Hearing the water lapping on the rocks. Nice fire pit by the water. Saw deer crossing the road in the same spot on our daily walks. Saw cranes ducks and lots of natural beauty. A yellow tabby followed us home from a walk on a nearby country road. The home is well layed out. Really enjoyed the gas fireplace after getting a chill from our walks. Very pleasant stay!

Enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive and our weekend was great. Wonderful location for peace and quiet.

The hosts were very accommodating. The property itself is set up very nicely. Just bring your personal items and food because everything else is there for you, including firewood, water toys and fishing gear. We would definitely stay here again.

House had everything we needed- lake was very relaxing to sit by, listen to and watch sunset. Plenty of space for us to sit in living room and kitchen. Not far from a few towns if we needed to run in for something. We brought a foam topper for the futon in the den bedroom and made it super comfy. Would stay again !

Great property, easy check in and plenty of room for our three families. We had 5 adults and a two year old. The house had everything you would need for a weeks stay and the host was great to work with. While the house was clean, it could use a deep cleaning but it wouldn’t detour me from staying again. Within ten minutes from groceries, bars/restaurants and a Kwik Trip. Thanks again to our hosts for sharing their property. We had a great time.

This house had everything we needed for two families to have an awesome air show experience. There were plenty of water toys for the kids to play with in the lake, hot tub to enjoy anytime and lots of fun games inside when the weather wasn’t perfect.

The property was as described and a short distance from AirVenture, about 20 minutes. The tv reception was sporadic, but we did not watch too much television. The kitchen had a large array of glasses, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Lots of bath towels, wash cloths, etc. Overall, it was well-stocked.
