Stayed Apr 25, 2026We enjoyed our stay and found this lakefront home was as advertised. The home had a great feel and provided great views whether we were in the kitchen, the dining area, or out on the deck. Communication from our host was great. Property was easy to find and access. There were no steps to the home from the parking area just outside the door which made unloading our vehicle a breeze. The beds were comfortable. We brought our fishing poles and spent a lot of time on the pier trying to catch the big one! There is lighting on the deck and pier making it nice to sit out after the sun goes down. We also took the canoe out for a spin and had a blast.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025It was absolutely relaxing! We enjoyed the quietness. The house was a great size for my family of 4. Only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer. My legs hurt from climbing up and down the stares but I got a good workout in. The house had all the basic you need.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025Steel Magnolia is exactly as advertised. Quaint cabin right on the lake with a dock to tie up your boat. My husband, son, and I went for a long fishing weekend and would go back without hesitation. The drive from the main highway takes some time, especially pulling a boat, but the drive makes the cabin more secluded. The drive does have a decent slope, so be weary in wet conditions.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024My family very much enjoyed the property. The children loved the kayaks and canoes. We enjoyed fishing, sitting by the fire and grilling food. The house was clean and had everything that we could need. The owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. We would love to return to the property!
