Beautiful Lake Wateree views with boat ramp, and large outdoor living areas

Good place. It was just what my friends and I were hoping for. Had most everything we needed that we didn't bring. Great view and the porch is an excellent space. Nice all around. Would definitely return. Very quite. Really cool, the bird nest of some kind of bird of prey out back.

Sylvia, We had a great time this weekend. The lodging was great and the open outside space was great as the family that had lunch together came back to the house and visited. The only downside for us, who are getting older, was navigating stairs. Otherwise great!!Avery

We had the most relaxing stay at this home. It was so peaceful to wake up each morning to a beautiful view of the lake. The home was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our family. The dock was great for fishing or tying up the boat. The location was quiet without a lot of traffic. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend away. We would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy more that this home has to offer. Sylvia was so helpful in answering any questions and providing an enjoyable experience. We would love to come back again!!

Beautiful home. Fantastic outdoor space including dock, boat ramp, fire pit and underneath space with plenty of tables, chairs, etc.

This is a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. I would have given this 5 stars if a few things were different. We are not streamers, so if our other guest were not we would have been without football. That’s a game changer for us. The grill was tricky but after some time we got it going. There was no propane in the upstairs outside fire table, so we were not able to enjoy that feature. It would be beneficial to invest in a little better dining table, this one was very wobbly and the leaf was not level making it uncomfortable for dining and even game playing. Overall this is a great spot for gathering.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lake house! It was beautiful and peaceful; a great escape from the everyday chaos of life. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to have some much needed relaxation and wanted to disconnected from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. We chose Lake Wateree because we wanted to feel like we were away from the city. Timeout on Tallow was scenic and quiet. We were able to connect to nature, as well as with one another.

This was such a great get away for our whole family. The location is very secluded and quiet. The views from the upper porch are amazing. The house was loaded with everything we needed. The dock and pier provided hours and hours of entertainment for our kids, and lots of great fishing when they weren't swimming. The few items we did need were found at the local gas station. The lake is relatively quiet. A few boats here and there, but not an all day race on the water. Everyone was disappointed we were leaving. We will definitely try to book this house again.

The place is the perfect location for our fishing trip. Beautiful cabin with plenty of yard space.

Check-in was great and able to walk into lake house once we got there. We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Sitting on the bottom patio gave us a beautiful view of the lake. While sitting on the top porch you felt like you were on the water. It was easy to walk to the pier. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We had a great stay at the lake house. Loved the upstairs and down stair kitchen facilities.

Excellent rental!. It’s tucked away in a very nice and private location. Centrally located on the lake. Beautiful big water, main channel view. Owners have done a great job getting this place set up. The host communicated very promptly. We will be going back.

Great trip

The view from the house is just lovely! It’s very well decorated and the bed downstairs is one of the most comfortable we’ve ever had on a vacation. The ac works great (which I’m so thankful for considering it was 100 degrees during our stay). It was so nice sitting on the porch upstairs. The water was very warm this time of year but we were able to float around the dock and make the best of it. Unfortunately the washer didn’t work while we were there which was a little inconvenient but the housekeeper came to help us out with a load of laundry during our stay (thank you so much!) (and someone was there to repair it as we were heading out). I loved the location but it is far from everything so plan ahead! And there’s no cell service anywhere around the house for miles. Please don’t let anything I said deter you from staying here. It really is beautiful. We just had a couple of unlucky things happen during our stay that were beyond anyone’s control. Communication was great with the owner and she was as helpful as she could be with our needs! Thank you!

Overall, property is nice. Great (mostly) screened in porch on top floor. Property was fairly clean and location was quiet. We did have an issue during our visit, which was addressed promptly.

Lovely lakeside retreat, with huge screened balcony and incredible views of main channel lake. Lots of bird-watching (including an osprey nest in the yard), and lake frontage. We really enjoyed our long weekend and will return!

Sylvia is a great host and her home is OUTSTANDING! The view and yard are magnificent, along with an incredible vaulted ceiling screened in porch, and a covered outdoor living room with all the makings for outdoor family fun. We played a ring game and corn hole, and sitting around a table out on the dock, enjoying the lake views. The evening was capped with a roaring fire on the lawn at the fire pit set-up that included seating all around. It was the perfect setting to celebrate my daughter's graduation from the University of South Carolina. We, also, enjoyed the Lake Retreat for dinner, just a few miles down the road. In addition to a great outdoor setting, the inside of the house was clean and cozy and very comfortable. Two bedrooms in the main house and a large bedroom suite with kitchen, table and hang out area with TV downstairs with slider doors to outdoor living room. I am a super host on a competing house rental site and have stayed in countless rentals and Sylvia's place is one of our favorites. We hope to return.

Had a great time on our second trip to this property. Best view on the lake, quiet neighborhood, relaxing, caught over 100 catfish from yard and dock. Looking forward to returning in July.

Awesome rental. The location is on the main lake only about 1/2 mile from a nice boat ramp. It has an extremely nice dock to fish from and tie the boat up at. The yard is almost flat so there are no stairs to get down to the water. The house and yard are immaculate. Well furnished all over. It's at the end of a nice driveway so no one happens by accidentally. Private and quite. 10 out of 10 in my oppinion. It's not a cheap built rental cabin, this is a killer house and location. Loved it.

The views are amazing from every angle. Property has a lot of room for the kids to run around and play. We all talked about booking again for a longer getaway.

This is the perfect location for a family weekend. We were able to relax on the two porches and the dock. Being able to throw in a line or take out a kayak was an added bonus. The upstairs porch is ideal for toddlers to play. We will be returning when the weather is warmer.

Was here for Thanksgiving with the family. Awesome property. Design is interesting with unconnected upstairs and downstairs but it’s fine. Small but functional kitchen. But the screened in porch and the pier is why you are here. Amazing, peaceful and truly enjoyable

This is the cutest property on Lake Wateree! Our family of 4 enjoyed fishing in the morning, coffee on the screened porch during sunrises, and bonfire smores to conclude our days. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very pleased with the property and the location situated on the main channel for great views. Beautiful large lot with plenty of parking for all quests. House was tastefully decorated and with a Main kitchen on 2nd floor and a kitchenette/Bathroom/laundry on the 1st floor accommodates people with disabilities that are not able to walk up 12 steps to the 2nd level. Molly creek landing and park is just a couple miles away by land to launch a boat. I would definitely be renting again in the near future.

We loved spending time on the screened in porch taking in the view of the lake!

We booked this to fish and fishing we did - even in the rain!!! We were hoping for 2 kayaks but there was only 1 but that was just a small thing. The home was so lovely, clean, and comfortable. We also would advise anyone who is elderly to know there are a lot of steps into the home. My Mom came with us and she is 90 but she kept saying how sturdy the steps and rail was. She loved the home and covered porch to watch us fish. Thank you for this opening your home to us!!!!
