This place is wonderful. Plenty of room and nice furnishings. The Lake is huge with plenty of boats and toys to enjoy. We caught some wonderful fish and saw all kinds of wildlife. Plenty of fun hikes and a nearby town with parks, movie theatres and a great golf course. And n top of all that we had access to the resort activity center allowing us to swim and play games. The best part was Nick the property manager. He made sure everything was just right and that our stay was perfect. We had the SPA heater break and the next day he came out on Memorial Day and installed a new one and made sure all was good before he left. This is a great place for a family get together or a corporate retreat. Can't wait to return
The Loon Cabin was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the gorgeous views while hanging out with our family. We had a fun time with the gas firepit and hot tub. Our kids loved playing Foosball and watching movies downstairs. It was so nice having a private bathroom connected to each bedroom. We prepared wonderful family meals in the kitchen and enjoyed fishing and four wheeling. We would definitely recommend this place and will likely be back for another stay in the future.
Great time with a lot of amenities, boat and canoe. We took over a pedal boat and two kayaks and our corn hole set. Fishing okay was early. Hot tub and fire pit lots of fun. Kitchen excellent size. We had 9 adults and 9 grandchildren. Trails, horseshoes, basketball and plenty of relaxation. Was a great time and beautiful scenery all around.
The Loon cabin & lake property and the 6 Lakes resort overall were fantastic for our large family reunion group. All of us had a great time. Only problem was fishing not anywhere near as advertised and the kids were really disappointed - we tried all 6 lakes (shore & boats) and all sorts of tackle and times of day but only 6 fish. Staff really didn't seem knowledgeable enough to help. The website mentions available fishing guides and I guess we should have spent some money on the first day to get some expert local methods.
My family had an amazing time!! So much to do!! From having our own private lake, to swimming, spa, hiking.....it was so much fun. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone. Loved that each room had its own bathroom!!
