Beautiful Lake Hamilton Cottage with Deck extending over the lake

Wife loved layout and decor as well as the large deck.

Very nice property! Right on the lake, very clean, well stocked with everything you need. Deck is big and has a great view. Highly recommend this property! Host was very accommodating and friendly.

Place was perfect for a long weekend get away for me and my wife. Walked out back door to a large deck, which actually is atop boat house. Place was clean and perfect with king bed as well as couch and recliner. Would stay again.

If you’re staying and using your boat or jet skis there is a marina 1 mile away but there is no parking for the trailer. So, it’s not that far by water to drive back to the cottage to park as long as someone drove your boat or jet skis to the cottage. In the plus side, you can park your boat and jet skis at the cottage, very convenient to come back off the lake at any time and relax on the wonderful deck with a view.

It is wonderful cottage. It was clean and smelled so good when we enter the house. Right next to the water and the big deck is just fantastic. It was surprisingly bigger than all the pictures show. Ms. Marie was very responsive and informative. We only got to stay one night, but we are already talking abut going back there to spend some time there.

The cabin was very clean and smelled wonderful upon arrival. I loved the deck overlooking the river. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The host has the cabin well stocked. If you need it, it's in there. She has a binder of flyers and menus to help you with what is in the area. The location is also great. Not far from lots of restaurants. I highly recommend this cabin to other visitors. You will definitely enjoy your stay!

The house was very clean and in a great location. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings overlooking the lake.

We loved our time at this cute cottage on the lake. The large patio over the lake was a perfect spot to relax. The cottage was clean with a very comfortable king bed. The location made it easy to get to all the retail areas and the historic district. There were several other people in the neighboring cottages, but the cottages are spaced far apart so we still felt like we had plenty of privacy and a quiet environment. We are already planning a return trip in the fall. 10/10 recommend this rental.

This was our 10th year staying at Marie's lovely home. It's location is close to everything. The home is stocked with everything we needed. Such a quiet getaway with a beautiful view of the lake. This is a place we will come to every year.

Beautiful grounds. Disappointed that azaleas had already bloomed. Might suggest handrail on the deck because if you are handicapped it is hard to get out on the deck. Overall excellent location and view.

The location was perfect, just a short distance from town, yet secluded enough to feel like our own private retreat. The little house was perfect. Clean, very comfortable, had everything we needed, great porch to sit and read, relax, watch sunset, lake and geese. Everything worked well inside for WiFi TV and computer. Comfortable couch. Nice.

This place has absolutely every amenity you can think of, including extra toothbrushes. It was clean, beautifully laid out, and decorated. The location is prime, isolated enough but still near grocery stores and attractions. The deck is literally over the watdr. We loved it!

The place was very clean and smelled good when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Only wished we had some extra blankets since we like to sleep with the room cold and cuddled under a warm bed. Plenty of good food options in the area. Beautiful view

I have never stayed in a vacation rental as clean as the cottage. Marie was great and was available whenever we had questions. The cottage is perfect just what we needed. Our German Shepherd enjoyed hanging out on the deck with us. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay.

Kitchen was good. Lots of choices. Unit was clean. The only issue was that the bathroom door was very hard to close.

Marie is an amazing host. There is so much thought and care displayed at the property. Prior to my visit Marie provided a great list of restaurants and places close by. The little details to make my stay enjoyable didn’t go unnoticed (like leaving a flash light to take my dog outside at night). As a pet owner having a vacuum and various supplies available was such a bonus. The cottage was clean and cute. The view of the lake was relaxing and beautiful. I even saw a hummingbird. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

This property is just as pictured. It is so clean and comfortable. The deck overlooking the lake was peaceful and relaxing for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The location is perfect!! Close to everything Hot Springs has to offer. Check in was simple with a keypad entry. The kitchen had nice appliances and amenities that made cooking a meal feel like home. I highly recommend this property and Marie was absolutely wonderful to communicate with as well. Thank you for a great weekend!

A beautiful quaint little cottage, well appointed, and right on the water at Lake Hamilton! Very close (within 5 minutes) of everything you could want to do in Hot Springs! And our pups were welcomed. What else could you ask for??

We enjoyed the cottage. Nice to be so close to shopping and restaurants. Great covered boat parking. Nice shade on the deck up until mid morning and then again after 6:30 or so. I’ve view of the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower is a bit small. I was able to park our 22’ tritoon party barge on its trailer beside the cottage, but it’s a bit tight as limbs and bushes are encroaching on the driveway.

Cottage was perfect. The area was phenomenal. Very quiet and the lake was beautiful.

Everything was absolutely perfect. I look forward to my next stay.

Cannot say enough about how completely relaxing this cottage is! Every possible amenity is provided, the view from the deck is beautiful, landscaping is charming, it is always immaculate, and it so quiet, yet close to everything we like (by boat or car)...Back Porch Grill, Fisherman's Wharf, boat launch, marina (for repair or gas), and Garvin's Gardens. We try to come here at least once every year, and somehow it just keeps being better! Thank you Marie for providing NIRVANA II for us.

The cottage was nice and clean and stocked with so many items needed for a lengthy vacation, such as cleaning supplies and kitchen supplies. Nice view of the lake and very close to shopping and restaurants.

All was above our expectations! The only thing that I wished was different was we were in a cove on the lake and it collected debris and was not good for swimming… for me. I saw kids having fun in the water though.

The owner did an excellent job of describing property. It was just what we expected and perfect for our getaway. There were lots of extras provided in case we forgot anything. Would for sure stay here again if ever back in Hot Springs.

The property was clean and well appointed-photos and descriptions were accurate. Communication with the host was easy. We had a short stay on a stormy night but were able to enjoy dinner on the deck before the rains. The cottage was cute and comfortable.

Let me tell you about this amazing little cottage!! (two stories in the review)The cottage is beautiful in every detail explained. Upon first entry you’re met with the aroma of how clean the property is. The kitchen is fully stocked, ice maker in the refrigerator, fresh towels, and plenty of “oops I forgot to bring” items. Once inside your eyes meet the spacious deck that shows an amazing view of Lake Hamilton. This is an amazing spot for a small family or couples just wanting to get away. Will definitely be back to this beautiful property. Now on to a personal note. So, secretly I’ve been planning to propose to my girlfriend for sometime. However, with the usual work life, family, and scheduled events, that perfect moment was never just there. As most men, I wanted the most rememberable moment for my girlfriend. Completely lost in ideas, and I haven’t been to Hot Springs since I was a child, I nervously, and completely out of context, decided to reach out to my host, Marie for ideas. I did not know what to expect at all, I mean who does that?!? Asking a random person online I’ve never met about ideas for a proposal?!?! Well let me tell you about Marie!!! Marie not only reached back out to me, but was able to provide memorable places and restaurants for my girlfriend’s perfect moment. AND WAS IT PERFECT!!! Marie is hands down the BEST host we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from and will forever be apart of our lives!!! Thank you so much Marie!!! Matt & Miriam

The cottage was lovely! The azaleas and dogwoods were in full bloom. Just as cute and clean as the pictures. Lake Hamilton is a gorgeous area. Even though weather wasn't perfect, there was plenty to do: shopping, Gangster Museum, eating, and my favorite - sitting in peace and quiet and looking out at Lake Hamilton! Will definitely go back.

I have been a fan of VRBO FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE STAYED IN QUITE A FEW WONDERFUL PLACES, BUT THIS ONE WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. AS IT TURNS OUT, IT WAS ESPECIALLY GOOD THAT THE LITTLE COTTAGE WAS SO DELIGHTFUL, BECAUSE THE WEATHER WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS AND BEING IN SUCH A COMFORTABLE SITUATION, MADE THE WEATHER VERY TOLERABLE. HAD THE WEATHER BEEN BETTER, I WOULD HAVE COMPLETELY ENJOYED THE BEAUTIFUL DECK THAT LOOKS OUT ON LAKE HAMILTON. Asparagus EVERYTHING WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT AND THE LANDSCAPING AROUND THE COTTAGE WAS SPECTACULAR. THE HOSTESS AND HER HUSBAND WERE BETTER THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS. THEY WERE SO THOUGHTFUL. ALTHOUGH MY SON AND I STAYED THERE THIS TIME, THIS IS A PLACE I WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK TO WITH TWO OR THREE OF MY FRIENDS FOR A FUN WEEKEND IN HOT SPRINGS.

We really enjoyed each morning coffee on the deck, overlooking the water and each evening, relaxing to the sound of the waves as we drank our hot tea. Everything we needed was provided in such a pleasant, efficient bungalow. We hope to come back many more times and enjoy this sweet spot.There is close proximity to all the best places. My husband and I were very happy with this booking. There were a few bumps in the road during our stay, however, Marie went out of her way to handle them and see to it that we were taken care of, even when we had to move to another cottage because of the inconvenience. With that being said, Marie was so wonderful to us and she was in constant communication with us to be sure we were happy. I highly recommend staying at her cottage, you won't be disappointed. Would love to come back someday.

This is a super cute and clean property which I enjoyed very much. Open floor plan so if you have people who want privacy this may not be your place, but if you like open floor plans it is perfect! Great communication, property as listed! Marie went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. She was easy to communicate with and very understanding to our situation regarding travel. The shower is pretty small which is listed in the listing so prepare for that. The deck is absolutely heaven! Again super clean and super great communication with the owner.

We are repeat guests at this sweet cottage and would easily give it 10 stars!! Impeccably clean, filled with amenities, easy check-in, comfy bed, gorgeous view, and the list goes on! Marie has thought of every detail and is such a pleasure. We booked the cottage several years ago on our first trip to Hot Springs and fell in love with it and the Lake Hamilton area. So much so that our latest stay was during move-in to our recently purchased condo! We like to think Marie’s cottage set the tone for us deciding to move here.
