Stayed Aug 16, 2025Excellent location convenient to downtown Traverse City in a family friendly neighborhood. The house was built in 1906 and beautiful with lovely woodwork. We had plenty of room for our group of 9. Host is very receptive to comments and questions. A wonderful stay.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025The home was located in a great spot in traverse city, about 6-8 blocks from the main downtown retail strip and beach. There were also several restaurants, a CVS, gas station, ice cream store, and coffee shop within 2-3 blocks of the home. Check in and out were simple with consistently great communication from the host and key pad entry. We appreciated the complimentary wine. The home was well equipped with plenty of towels for each person, and complimentary toilet paper, paper towel, and soaps/shampoos. The kitchen had everything we needed and the extra large dining room table was perfect. We did not use the bikes but there were several available. We were within 10 mins drive to parasailing and boat rental which we enjoyed. The house itself was in a quiet area, so we all slept well. The beds were very comfortable w/exception of pull out couch- mattress was tho and springy. I recommend this home if you have a large family. Please be warned that the stairway to go upstairs is a bit narrow and may not be conducive for elderly. However there is a bedroom on main level too. We loved our stay!!

Stayed May 23, 2025Elevated is maybe not the word I would use to describe this company. Pros The house is old but clean in a great location. The beds are comfortable. Sheets and towels are new. There is a second bathroom on the second floor, but it is inside one of the bedrooms.ConsWhether you stay, and PAY, for 2 days or 8, you receive a starter kit of amenities. For the 2 night guest this might be enough. But for the 8 night guest (which we were--a group of 5) or a bigger group, be prepared to bring your own body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, dishwasher pods and laundry soap, if you want to run more than two loads of dishes, laundry or towels. Because according to Elevated, when we asked for more soap, TP and DW pods, we were told no. Their response was: airbnb's are not hotels but guest-catered accommodations so guests typically supply additional consumables for longer stays. How does it make sense that we get less supplies because we are staying longer? We pay the same amount for the additional days! The yard is mostly dirt. The bottom of the fire pit is completely rusted through and the wood is sitting on the ground. Not sure the bikes are usable. They are in bad shape: chains are rusted, they have flat tires and the seats have holes. It's somewhat noisy being so close to Division St, but not intolerable. We had to ask for more coffee cups as there was only 5, which they did supply.Propane ran out. We replaced it and were reimbursed, but not for tax.

Stayed May 31, 2025We enjoyed our stay, especially the great location!! Everyone slept great on the clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little sparse, but functional. The house itself is obviously old and historic, and could use some interior updates.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and in a fantastic location. We walked to many things, which was wonderful. The only issue we had was that the owner only allotted guests a certain amount of “consumables.” We asked for more toilet paper and were told no. Considering the amount we paid for the place, this was disappointing. We ran out on day 5 of 8 and had to go out and buy more. The hand soap and dishwasher pods also didn’t last the entire trip either. Also, despite being in walking distance to the beach (great!) no beach towels were provided. It would have been helpful to know about these things before we came so we could have brought stuff from home. Regardless, it was a great vacation spot! I would recommend it - just bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc and beach towels.
