Kitchen was fully equipped. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children. We would definitely book this home again

Family get away for PopPops Birthday. What an amazing property. Spectacular views from the porch. We stayed in the entire weekend and enjoyed meals together, family chats, bonfires and just relaxing. The walking path was an adventure with the littles, they enjoyed the fresh air and memorial gardens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable with space for everyone. Great family home!

House was perfect for a group of 8 girlfriends to get away! Property was beautiful, quiet and tucked away - wildlife around every corner - we NEVER used the living room because we stayed out on the deck the entire time for a gorgeous view - property was extremely clean, decor was perfect and the attention to detail was the best! Owners were quick to respond, check-in was convenient and we had no issues at all. Would absolutely stay here again!

The sunsets are the icing on the cake of this home. The kitchen is immaculately equipped for pretty much any meal you want to make, the beds and linens are comfortable, it’s clean and welcoming, quiet, and in a great location with so much privacy and so many birds to hear. Be advised the bunk room is an alcove “open to” the downstairs living (there is no door or curtain.)

Have stayed here twice and will stay again! Secluded mountain cabin with great amenities. Two decks, gas stove, gas grill, well equipped to cook big meals. Lots of comfy seating and well appointed. Owners are very responsive and friendly. Would recommend!

Four of us couples travelled from south Florida for our husbands to participate in their 3rd annual 100 mile cycling ride through the mountains. It’s been hard to find what we were looking for over the past three years, but this year we hit the jackpot with The Shadowlands! Each couple had a king size bed and bathroom all to themselves. Private, cozy and beautiful. Garry and Ruth thought of every detail with this property—From the fully equipped kitchen, to the stocked game cabinet along with plenty of seating on the deck to take in the breathtaking view of the sunset over the mountains each night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave! They were so friendly, kind and helpful, quick to respond if we had questions. I would highly recommend Garry and Ruth’s lovely home to anyone wanting to escape to the mountains!

Breathtaking view and beautiful property. Perfect for a family wedding getaway. If you like mountain roads, you’re in luck. The family pictures in the house were a wonderful touch. Would stat again without hesitation.
