Very clean and nice property. Everything met our expectations and matched the listing. Plenty of spare blankets and towels, which was appreciated.

Had a week long stay and the house worked out perfect. Enough space for everyone and right on Higgins lake. The owner (Erica) was very accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. Even texted me to see if we needed anything extra and asked about our stay. I would recommend this house if you are looking to stay on Higgins lake.

Great spot with everything you'd need. Grandkids had a blast swimming/tubing all week. Best vacation ever was heard all week. S'mores by the bonfire just about every night. We'll be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at The West Side Higgins Lake Retreat. The weather was good, the water was great and views fantastic. We will return.

Wonderful getaway. Don’t hesitate booking this place. This is a slice of heaven on Higgins Lake. We had a wonderful time. All you need is your suitcase they take of everything else. Truly a home away from home. House is immaculate and cozy. Host is top notch and quickly responds to any questions. We will definitely book again.

Had an amazing sunrise over the lake

Amenities were awesome. Beautiful backyard space for the kids to play. Dock and lake space were very nice for swimming and playing. Upper deck was very well appointed for watching the lake and sunrise!

We loved the cottage! It was perfect for our family. Very comfortable and clean. Location on the lake was perfect. The cottage had everything we needed and the owner was very responsive and helpful. All was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this cottage!

Our family recently had an incredible stay at Higgins Lake at this beautiful lake home! The check-in process was seemless, the owner was available anytime for a last minute question, and the house was well-appointed for cooking meals, relaxing, and of course enjoying the lake. We rented a boat at local marina and moored it to the owners bouy during our stay. The kids absolutely loved the loft and bunk beds, and while the ship ladder stairs were quite steep with guidance the kids went up and down with ease. The firepit, dock, and patio was where we spent a bulk of our time relaxing, and making memories! Highly recommend this lake home for a great stay on Higgins Lake. If we come back to Higgins we will definitely stay here!

We had a great time! The location is perfect for swimming all day and family time at night. The lake is stunning and crystal clear, and from this home you can wade right in. The kids played in the huge shallow area while the adults floated alongside. Easy boat rental nearby and short drive to restaurants and ice cream. We barely left the home and the lake during our week because we enjoyed it so much. We would return without a doubt.

We really enjoyed this property! It was very clean and accommodated our family very well. The lake is beautiful and very nice to have in the back yard. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and took a drive to Mackinac island! Relaxed a lot! Thanks!

Great house very clean, well kept excellent location . A little tight for 11 of us but overall everyone had a great time. Higgins lake is outstanding excellent place for a fun family vacation. I would highly recommend & go back again
