Beautiful Home on a Point Private Pool, Hot Tub and Boat Dock

Good property for our large group of 22. We really enjoyed the outside patio pool area, the view was awesome. Sleeping situation was comfortable for everyone, host was responsive to our requests. House is well located on the lake. Dock was very bouncy during the day as it is located in a very busy section of the lake.

This house is in an incredible location (centrally located at the lake) and had incredible views from the backyard pool! The dock made getting picked up for our boat trip very easy. Would definitely recommend staying here for a larger group!

Very private house on a point. No neighboring docks in sight so we really appreciated the privacy!

We had a group of 12 and had lots of space, plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. The pool was perfect for the heat & the AC worked great for as large as the house was! Loved fishing from the dock as well! There were some safety hazards that concerned us (uncovered pool drain we kept stepping into, front door that seemed not to lock, a broken bunk bed) and didn’t think it had been cleaned well before us (LOTS of bugs, unwiped table with stickiness, a grease leaking stove outside & chunks of hair on the stairs and some carpet staining that made it clear there were dogs there previously). House needs some maintenance and love but it served us well.

Our group consisted of 14 adults and 5 children. The house is beautiful, and the scenic view is great. The rooms are large but not conveniently arranged. There are three levels. The bottom level consists of the kitchen, which is well stocked with almost all needs, dining area, family room, theater room, three season porch, bath and a half, laundry room, and a huge bedroom with a king size bed and oversized bathroom, a walkout to the patio, swimming pool, hot tub and steps to the dock. This is where everyone hung out. You enter the house through the middle level, gathering room. To get to the bottom level you must go down 30 steps. The 3rd level is another 30 steps 60 total steps. Everything coming and going comes through the middle area. Bringing in groceries, and other items requires bringing them down 30 steps etc. to the bottom level where everyone gathers. There are 60 steps from the bottom level to the third level. If you have a disability and cannot walk up and down 30 steps consider selecting a different place. I must use a walker and could not come into the house from the front door. Thankfully there is a cart path from the front of the house to the back but barely wide enough for a car which got me to the bottom level. There were a few maintenance problems. We rented a pontoon boat with a pilot and he picked people up from the dock and took them water tubing and site seeing. Everyone had a great time. I recommend this house if you can maneuver 30 to 60 steps.

Great location and beautiful view of the lake. The pool/patio area was great and accommodated our large multigenerational group perfectly! The property owner was very responsive when we needed assistance. Property in need of some updates and maintenance but overall satisfied with our stay.

It is a very nice house. There were a few issues when we hot there but the host was extremely responsive. Family had a blast.

I’ll start with the positives. This home had plenty of room to accommodate a large family and had a wonderful outdoor area. I feel like this is where the positives end. The home did not appear to have been recently cleaned when we arrived and the washcloths were black after cleaning the kitchen countertops upon check in. Our first night all showers had almost no hot water and no water pressure, to the point where you couldn’t wash your hair. By the second night there was no water coming out of the showers on the second and third floor. We contacted the owner who was going to “ look into it”. We never heard back until we contacted him again when we went to take showers on our last night and there still was no water except in one bathroom on the ground floor. We were told to turn off the air conditioner and see if that helped. Which it did not. We had to have 17 people take a shower in one small shower. The light to one of the bathrooms also controlled a bedroom light, so if you turned on the bathroom light the bedroom also turned on. So at night you had to use the bathroom without a light so you didn’t wake up the next bedroom. For the cost of this rental you would expect a much nicer, more updated, cleaner home.

Our overall stay was great with a few minor issues. The property and location were great for our vacation. We had a mixture of adults and kids. The view from the house and pool is amazing! The pool/jacuzzi are great. We rented boats and used the dock. There are MANY stairs in the house and to the dock so be prepared. The property host was very responsive to all our needs. There were a few issues with water pressure and maintenance that the host said would be addressed. The cleanliness of the house could use some improvements, but it is a large house to turn over.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The house is quite large and accomodated our group of 20. The best part of the entire complex is the pool and patio area. There was plenty of tables and chairs for our entire group. The place does need some outside attention. Only complaint about the inside is the bathroom configuration and the lack of ample seating in the living room. The view from the pool is outstanding. Got some fabulous pictures of the full strawberry moon from there.
