Beautiful home minutes from downtown!

Host was responsive to questions. House had cooking utensils, sheets and towels. Safe and quiet area. Game room was fun for the kids. 2 tv in the house to be able to watch separate things. The only downfall was all the beds were very uncomfortable either too hard of a mattress or could feel the springs through one of them.

It has nice space with 4 separate bedrooms, 2 main floor living room areas, and a basement game room. However, with a house that has easy capability to sleep 8 people it has a small kitchen table with only 4 chairs. It would be advantageous to at least have 4 additional folding chairs and either a bigger kitchen table or an additional folding table that could be used if needed. The kitchen is poorly equipped for doing any cooking. There aren't any pots or pans or baking dishes. There are just plates, cups, silverware and a few mixing bowls. The master bedroom bed mattress is VERY POOR. It sinks to the middle and since staying there I've had to go to the chiropractor to treat sore back issues that started after sleeping in that bed for 2 nights.If these 3 issues were remedied I would be able to give it 5 stars but as it is I would not stay there again.

Great place. Lots of room and had such a great time and memories. Would recommend if you are staying in Des Moines.

What a great place to stay!

The host was very responsive and quick to reply. The house was as advertised. We stayed one night for a concert. We were maybe 10 minutes from downtown. There are some restaurants and convenient stores close by.

Trash under downstairs bed & carpets a little dirty but very nice roomy place. Could use more cooking utensils. Neighbor across street was always outside yelling & swearing. Acted very intoxicated but he didn’t yell directly @ us.

Clean house, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, good location

This worked out great for us while we were in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for 4 of us and a dog!

The house is great for a large family. Lot’s of room! The game room was awesome. I don’t think the cleaning lady is doing that great of a job. The deck outside definitely needs some cleaning and maintenance. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and in a good location.

Very comfortable. Nice Location. Wanted to stay there again next year but it was already booked.

This home was perfect for our stay over the 4th weekend for the Good Guys cars show. I never contacted the host about our issue with the BBQ grill. It was so dirty and greasy, once lit it caught on fire and wouldn't go out. We found some baking soda in the house and we're able to put the fire out and decided to cook another way. We cleaned the grill but didn't try it again. There also is an outlet that is marked do not use in the front living room. It is burnt and it makes me nervous just because it should be fixed in my opinion. Other than that it was an excellent stay. Thank you!

In DM for a family wedding and this was a nice place to gather and have family time before the wedding.

Overall we had a nice time and would come back. It was convenient for visiting family without being in each other’s way.

We had such a great stay in this house. Very big and clean. The patio was such a great relaxing place that we got to sit out there and see squirrels. Laundry detergent and fabric softner available for us. Neighborhood was quiet, tv was easy to navigate. If we come back we will stay here again!

My family and I had a nice stay. The house was spot on to the description, and you can tell the host goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.

This house was exactly what the pictures looked like! The beds were extremely comfy and we had a blast! Contacting the host was easy and he responded quickly!

Property is clean - very spacious. Kitchen cooking and food storage supplies are lacking tremendously. The WiFi is not strong enough to handle multiple devices without buffering.

This house had everything we needed. The location was within 20 minutes of everything we needed and wanted to do. There’s plenty of room so you’re not on top of each other. The owner was responsive and friendly. We will stay here again when we need to see family.

Nice 4 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. Short trip to downtown. Game room was a nice surprise. 2 living rooms upstairs with a well equipped kitchen. Nice deck on side of house to enjoy the fresh air.

What you see (in the pictures) is what you get. Very nice house where everyone was able to relax before and after a family wedding. Plenty of room and very clean. All the comforts of home in a nice neighborhood. We couldn’t find a coffee maker but they had a keurig that worked great.

Enough room for us, 6 adults and two small children. Would suggest a window covering for basement bedroom. House was clean.
