Great place, great location , plenty of room!
Location, spaciousness for a large group, kitchen amenities
Within walking distance to the entire resort. Lots of room! Only 1 TV - and it’s too small for the size of the room. One of the staircases downstairs needs a railing. Dangerous with the slippery wood and is wide open. Nice porch and fire pit. Looks right out on golf course. Chairs would have been nice. Glad we brought a portable grill. Very nice updated house.
The environment was incredible; Crystal Mountain Resort was amazing and I would definitely return to the resort. The house was a different story. While the outside fire pit was wonderful and the kitchen was good and well equipped, there were other issues. The floating stairs going to the basement did not have handrails; per building code and for safety reasons, they should have been installed. The beds were merely mattresses on boards (no box springs) and were uncomfortable; the bunk beds were 6 inches off the ground and were extremely difficult to get in and out of. The bathrooms all have the tiny, round toilets popular in the 1960’s. The showers, when wet, were very slippery and we constantly feared falling. There was no air conditioning; the afternoons were warm so we opened the windows. However, a couple of the front windows were missing cranks and we could not open them thus preventing cross-ventilation. No fans were provided. The yard had tall mulch piles (5-6 feet tall) that were a fire hazard. The house advertised an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer but they were not available; Vacasa DID supply those by the end of the second day. The house listing indicated there was a coin operated washer and dryer. We came to realize that was mis-leading; the resort building has a single washer and dryer on the second floor that we could use. We could NOT recommend this house to anyone and will definitely never stay there again. In addition, I tried for 2 days to commun
Location and space were good. Bed arrangement’s not ideal for two families. We had no WiFi service. Did not have any wood or duralogs to burn in the fireplace. Wood burning stove was no longer there as shown in the pics. No washer/dryer.
House and layout are nice and parking area is convenient. Beds are almost adequate. Not very comfortable for the adults or teens.
The best part of this property is the location. It’s an easy walk to the village or slopes or water park or golf club house. It’s all right there. But it’s far enough removed in the woods and on the golf course that you feel you have space and even a view. Inside has plenty of space to gather and spread out for a family or two. This place would be a grand slam with some interior updates and face lift, but great value as is.
The home is very nice. I don’t have any major complaints. Just wish there were more towels for all the people we had, especially with no washer and dryer
Lots of room and beds- comfortably accommodated a family of 8. Enjoyed our stay
Great home for a large group! Well appointed and within walking distance to everything. We go to Crystal every year and this was one of our favorite rentals. Highly recommend!
