Absolutely beautiful place! Very quiet and serene. Internet is a little slow, but otherwise absolutely wonderful.
Great theatre room. Comfortable beds. Well stocked. Not a good access to the river.
This place is perfect for relaxation in this quiet, wooded and remote area. We appreciated the large deck with its multiple chairs and especially loved the swing ! You can sit anywhere inside and have a great view of the outside. Day trips to the beach, bike trail, or other areas are perfect.
Nice house, well stocked, beautiful wooden lot, nice deck, where we spent a lot of time. Had fun playing in Betsie river. Our favorite beach was in Beulah on Crystal lake, which was only 20 min away. Good location for exploring: Frankfort, Sleeping Bear dunes , Leland , Traverse City- all were 30-40 min drive. We would come back!
This house was very clean, very comfortable and very peaceful. From the cozy furniture to the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, to the huge yard and fun river access... this place exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!
Hadley was such a wonderful host. He made everything easy. This property was very very clean and well kept. Such a blessing to have found this place! Thank you Hadley!!
We enjoyed our stay. House was right size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed. Being close to the Betsie was nice for the couple of days we stayed at the house. Only downside to location was time spent driving back and forth to beach and sites.
Check-in was super easy, the property and location was a true nature retreat, peaceful and tranquil, we loved all the entertaining areas outdoors on the deck and patio and the fire pit and river sounds. The home was very nice and clean. My grandson loved playing in the river looking for crawfish. We all enjoyed it very much!
The property is secluded from neighbors and beautiful. The cabin is very nice, well decorated and clean. Very peaceful and quiet setting. We will definitely stay here again!! I love the view of the river from the house. Our 8 and 6 y.o. LOVED playing in the river and catching crayfish and minnows. It’s on a couple steps down the bank to get into the river. The river at the property is shallow (Ankle depth) in some areas and deeper in some spots, which was perfect for the kids to “fish” for minnows in the deeper spots. Crystal Mountain and Ironfish is only about 10 mins away and St Ambrose is 10 mins away in opposite direction. Traverse City and Suttons Bay are further drives, but still under an hour. We hit up a couple mountain bike trails while in the area, Arcadia’s St Pierre Trail and Palmer Woods were awesome (but difficult if you are not a mountain biker with some experience). They would be great places to hike if you’re looking for a woodsy and hilly hike. We’ll definitely stay here again! We were sad to leave when our four nights were over.
Our entire family from ages 12-49 loved our time here. The house was great…and the land & creek were the absolute best. There was plenty of space - everything was clean - we felt right at home. Being less then an hour from so many fun things was perfect for us too…..we were able to get to see things but still come home to just us. And the star gazing was PERFECT!!!! This trip was planned so that our 13 year old would be able to star gaze….well, she got her wish. Perfect for star gazing. Thank you again!
