Beautiful home, ideal for a larger group to gather.

The property was exceptional! We had 8 girls very comfortably at the home. Marlene the host was so kind and welcoming, making sure all was going well. The house had such gorgeous charm, perfectly designed and in a great location. The pool was gorgeous and the house was well prepped with everything you needed for a fun beach weekend. Would highly recommend!

The Hemingway House was the perfect house for our family of 7 adults. King size beds ever-where and the pool and view was terrific! We rented a boat and were able to leave it there on the dock that belongs to the house does not get much better than that. Marlene was amazing. Every question every request was answered immediately We will be back. We thank our host and love Marco Island.

This property was perfect for our trip. The house was very nice and included many extras that made the stay even better. Marlene our host was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was taken care of. Views for morning coffee on the back porch were incredible. Everything on the island was very accessible from the house. Excellent property.

The Hemingway House in Marco Island is amazing and an absolute GEM! The house is GORGEOUS and completely stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a fully stocked kitchen, grill, shampoos/bath wash, hair dryers, magnifying mirrors in the bathroom, 8 bikes, 4 kayaks, beach towels, etc., etc., etc. It has 5 stunning bedrooms, each beautifully decorated down to the smallest of details. The pool and jacuzzi were SO warm and our whole family enjoyed both on a daily basis. One of my very favorite parts were the stunning wrap around porches, including the upper deck one which has INCREDIBLE views of the bay. Plus, there are so many outdoor cozy chairs, tables, and recliners - perfect to cozy up in with a coffee, book, or cocktail and enjoy the view. The hostess, Marlene, was an absolute DREAM to coordinate with. She is so personable and incredibly responsive! She made our vacation so seamless and easy. A customer service. Our stay at the Hemingway House was magical and we hope to return again some day soon!

Place was perfect to host our extended family

I rented this house for my sister’s bachelorette trip and it was perfect. She had the best time and everyone who stayed there felt the same. The pool and hot tub were perfect and we had everything we needed. The house was extremely clean. The host was always reachable and responded with any questions promptly. I especially enjoyed having the bikes available to ride to the store, coffee shops, and the beach. Overall, this property was the best experience I have had with renting.

Great house, room for a larger group. Loved that we all had our own bathroom and the pool area was perfect. We had a wonderful time. We will rent again for sure!:)

The house was very nice. I wish there was a floor plan or describe which room was where ie upstair bedroom. We thought room with Murphy bed was upstairs

The view was beautiful and the home was very clean. We appreciated they had plenty of towels and enough necessities (garbage bags and toilet paper) for our short stay. The AC worked well. The main master is very nice but the rest of the house feels more dated (though appliances seem newer). The beds were very comfortable.

The house was perfect for us. The pool and hot tub probably got the most attention. The pool temp setting was good for the weather we had. We sure appreciated the extra refrigerator in the garage. Having a bathroom at each bedroom was also very nice. Marlene our Host did an excellent job quickly answering and questions we had. We would definitely stay at the Hemingway House again.

10 out of 10A group of friends and I recently stayed at Hemingway House. The place is gorgeous and sits right on a canal. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, which is fully stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve meals. The furniture is very comfortable and there are games and televisions. Outdoors, there is a large pool and plenty of seating. There's also floats to lounge in the pool. There are kayaks and bicycles. The host, Marlene, responded immediately when we had any questions. She was lovely to talk to and so helpful.Hemingway House is an exquisite, relaxing place on Marco Island that provides everything you need to have the exact vacation you want. We loved it!

Brought our boat and spent a lot of time on the water. The home is in a great location for boaters and those who enjoy being on the water.

The neighborhood was very, very nice. The home was located very close to the grocery store so that was convenient. Inside the home was just like it shows online everything was so nice. It was clean convenient in every way. Outside was nice chairs and tables and lounge chairs. The pool was excellent. We just had a wonderful time and I would suggest anybody looking to wanting to go to Marco Island should stay at the Hemingway House. Marlene went over and above for us and she is a wonderful manager of the property. There were five couples we each had our own bedroom with a king bed and our own bathroom. So it just was a wonderful vacation. We were there for a week.

Beautiful home and property. Some appliances need to be updated. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. Our family truly enjoyed that area immensely. The bedrooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

This is our second year that we stayed at this home. We love it so much! Beautiful views! Very spacious and comfortable. They go above and beyond with stocking the kitchen. Very good at communicating too!

Hemingway House was perfect for our extended family with our adult children and young grandchildren. There was plenty of space and privacy for everyone with their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool and hot tub were a big hit and we were in it everyday! There were floaties and beach toys available for us to use. Marlene was super responsive and helpful. There were two pack and plays and high chairs set up for us when we arrived which was very helpful! The kitchen was well stocked and we also used the outdoor grill for dinners. The location was great and a short drive to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!

My husband and I hosted our children and their families at the Hemingway House this past week. It was delightful! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very practically situated and stocked. We had many books, games and outdoor items to use during our stay. Thank you for allowing us this stay in your lovely home.

The property provided quick access by boat to fishing. It had great amount of space for our family group of nine, from 10-year-old to grandparent, to be together or have space of our own.

- Our group of 8 siblings/spouses in our 70's stayed in the Hemingway House for a week in March. We were thrilled with the layout, decor, amenities and location of the house. The 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were perfect for our group. (I should mention that one upstairs bedroom had a funky setup with the sink and shower actually in the bedroom- it was fine for a single member of our group). The pool was delightful as was the hot tub. The kitchen was well-supplied,and we did prepare several of our meals there. A few of us enjoyed using the bikes to ride around the island. My husband loved being able to fish from the dock on the property. The manager was very responsive to questions. As a VRBO Super Host myself, I noticed the cleanliness, thoughtfulness and hospitality throughout.

Lovely house and location. We are not a rowdy group so we had no issues with the noise ordinance.

My husband and I have been renting a condo in MARCO ISLAND for 10 years. This year our children and grandchildren visited but our condo was not large enough so we rented The Hemingway House. Everything was FABULOUS!! Bedrooms are spacious and private and living areas both inside and by the pool are well appointed. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, clean and very warm. We will be back next year! We had no issues and the manager Marlene Church stopped by to meet us and was very helpful! It was a wonderful experience!

The house was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10 friends. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating area as well as the well-equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful time!

Sliding glass doors would not lock. Concern that 4 year old child (we had 4 under 4) could get up during the night and open the sliding glass door, (because she does this at her home), and could fall into the pool. Dishwasher upper jet had a piece missing which meant only the bottom half would get clean. Not enough towels or hooks to hang damp clothing and towels. Outdoor lighting not working as well as other issues. Our family made the best of it, but will not rent this property again. Marlene, the host, was wonderful, but owner was non responsive.

We had an amazing three days during our stay at Marco Island. The property is even better than the description! We had plenty of space and it was a great place to share with friends. The house had everything that you could ever need. Was super clean at the host was very helpful and accessible. Would highly recommend this property!

My family (husband, 5 young adult children, and son-in-law) really enjoyed the accommodations. It was very clean and very well-appointed. I don’t think there was anything lacking! We enjoyed using the many bicycles. There was plenty of room to relax. Thank you for being a wonderful host, Marlene!

Our family enjoyed this house tremendously. Great place to decompress from stressful jobs. Beautiful, wide water view from 2 of the upstairs bedrooms, master bath, and balcony. Also nice water view from kitchen and family room. Husband preferred staying at house/pool vs going to beach. New landscaping since pictures taken. House is very well stocked. Marlene is an outstanding host - very kind and responsive. Only disappointment was the bikes as they had a lot of wear and some rust on them. Marco isn't great for biking anyway, so we never used them.

I rented the Hemingway house for a family long weekend and it was perfect for our group. Good location, clean and plenty of things to do.

It’s a beautiful home, perfect for a large group. The pool and hot tub and backyard area is ideal to hang out. It’s located centrally on the island, easy to get to restaurants and grocery store. Bikes are provided, which was really fun. I would definitely stay here again!

We made a last-minute switch from Anna Maria Island to find this super house on Marco Island as a result of the hurricane. The host was responsive, communicative, and accommodating. The house is perfect for a large family (3 adult kids and spouses), with five bedrooms each with its own full bath. The pool is well maintained and large with great lounging areas. We enjoyed the patio, the lanai and ability to drop kayaks into the cove right behind the house. The sunrise from the balcony is a fantastic view. The kitchen was well stocked. The host struck a great balance between giving us our space but remaining responsive anytime we needed something.
