Beautiful Home 5 Miles to Air Force Academy Hot Tub and Sleeps 18

It was more like a family reunion and though we did not max out the sleeping capacity, we had surprise family cancel their hotel room to come stay with us in luxury. The beautiful hues of blue with unique metal and wood decor, quality flooring and plush furnishings fully accommodated us to share meals overlooking purple mountain majesty. Truly a blessing to zoom up and back from USAFA, we returned to the house minutes later to curl up by the fire, play cards, share stories, cook good food together, and laugh so hard we cried…never forgetting these memories celebrating our cadet and her commitment to service!!! I cannot say enough about our host family when I texted and received immediate feedback. Matches? Yes in the desk. Mattresses? Set up just in case. Surprise family? Extra mattress set out in the basement. So helpful! May God bless them all the days of their lives for generously sharing their primary residence, trusting families who value service above self!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better host in Jenny! We enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs and the location was perfect for all USAFA graduation activities (5-10 min from north gate)! The house was perfect and family members enjoyed the the views, walking trails, and close proximity of all merchants. I highly recommend this location for any type of getaway and hope you enjoy your stay as much as our family!

We spent the entire week for USAFA Graduation, and all the events that come with it. Everything in the description is completely accurate. The location was so convenient to get to the Academy. Supermarkets and stores also very close by. Jenny is the best! She called and we went through everything beforehand. It snowed over a foot when we got there and they even shoveled the place for our arrival. Everything in the house was laid out for our convenience, including a welcome gift and party supplies! The house was well appointed with everything., including lots of games and toys for the kids. We had 14 people (8 adults and 6 young children), and the house spread everybody out nicely. The backyard backs to open space, and provided hours of fun play time for kids. Just a great overall house and a great overall family! Thanks Jenny.

It was the perfect location for USAFA Parent’s Weekend. Beautiful home, had everything we needed during our stay. Easy check in process. And the complimentary water and coffee was a nice touch! High recommend!

I am beyond thrilled that we found the Fields home! It was honestly unlike any we have ever booked before because the Fields go above and beyond! Jenny is very helpful and accommodating, and there were a lot of special touches to welcome us and make us feel at home. The home is easy to find and so close to USAFA it made the back and forth for graduation events very easy. There was ample space for all of our needs! Thank you Fields family!

House was as advertised. Great location to USAFA. Tons of space and everything my family needed to enjoy our stay. Definitely will book again if possible.

When we lost our first reservation, we were skeptical to reserve again. But right from the start, Jenny was willing to go out of her way to make everything just perfect. And perfect it was. Her home is beautifully decorated, and very warm and inviting. Location couldn't have been better. It is just 10 minutes from the north gate, which made it so easy to get my group of 24 (give and take a few) to the AFA in time for all events. She was accommodating for our varied numbers throughout the week, including being able to hook up a camper and a trailer in the driveway! We had everything we needed. And if we didn't, Jenny left baskets of necessities around the house--including a basket of graduation decorations and a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator! My family and friends who came to the Field's home for a meal, or gathering couldn't say enough about how nice it was, and that the efforts put forth by the Field's family to make us feel welcome, were awesome. I agree. We all felt at home. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. Thank you Field's family! It was obvious that you generously give up your home as a SERVICE for other AF families coming to celebrate at the AFA. God Bless!

Well organized, clean, spacious, great for a group. Good space for privacy plus gathering spaces. Kitchen with ample pots, pans, dishes. Functioning dishwasher. Space to work and move around. Basics provided for the little necessities (salt, pepper, oil, sugar, even coffee and tea). Fridge empty and ready for our stuff. Snack bags and waters provided. Bedrooms comfortable. Bathrooms and towels nice. Outdoor hot tub was a big hit, and the hammock too. Plenty of space to park. Easy to get to, convenient to grocery store, restaurants and the academy. Jenny was very easy to work with, quickly responding to inquiries, good clear communicator, did what she said she would. Overall an excellent experience- hope to go back!

1) The location to the AFA was incredibly near. You couldn't get any closer from a home like this. 2) The owners added a welcoming touch to our stay by providing toiletries in each bathroom. That was a special surprise. 3) The kids loved their space in the den where a big screen TV, comfortable seating area which included games, movies, and space where the kids could be away from the adults. 4) Beds, the master bedroom bed, bed in the den and the blow up mattress were very comfortable. Some minor complaints about the beds upstairs weren't as comfortable. 5) The deck, sun room and dining room had a wonderful flow for our family moving from one room to another. Games provided in the sun room was a plus. 6) I liked the fact that there were no neighbors in the back we even saw a deer with her babies. My daughter enjoyed the hammock while reading in the comforts of the out doors. 7) The furniture in the living room is very comfortable. Family fell asleep while watching the television. 8) The home was just a bit warm, we tried several times to adjust the temperature but was unsuccessful. Opening the windows helped a little. Realized at the last day of our stay that the breaker was off. 9) Over all this home was wonderful only minor downfall was the two beds upstairs. The Fields family from what I gathered are a warm pleasant family.
