Bellevue, Kentucky
Location, location, location...the best of everything...quaint urban living and big city excitement all within walking distance!!! This spacious 118 year old home located in the historic district of Northern Kentucky, Riverfront. It served as the parsonage for the Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church until 2001. Because we are only the 3rd owners of this lovely home, it has retained all its historic charm including original stain glass windows, but refurbished with all the innovated design for today's lifestyle!
Stroll along the neighborhood streets past unique shops, restaurants and all the entertainment the mighty Ohio River has to offer. Enjoy boating; riverfront dining plus you are a bridge away from your favorite big league sports! You are also minutes away from the variety of cultural events, museums, and family friendly activities Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area has to provide.
This home is completely furnished with all amenities for a comfortable residence including off street parking and a lovely backyard providing additional outdoor living. Its close proximity to the expressway and Greater Cincinnati International Airport, affords an exceptional opportunity for corporate transfers and rentals, or vacationing families.
Rent this house for a month or longer. It will feel like your own home the day you move in. You might never want to leave Berry Avenue.
Beautifully restored historic home. Well equipped for cooking for a family holiday visit. Sweetly decorated for Christmas. Quiet neighborhood, Plenty of street parking. Excellent owner communication.
For the second time, my husband's adult siblings and spouses stayed in the parsonage as we met halfway between Northern Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia. As usual, Jane's place did not disappoint. The seven of us had plenty of space to sleep, enjoyed the dining room for cards, and the living room for morning coffee. The house is an easy walk to the bus stop (Tankus.org) which took us to Cincinnati where we enjoyed the Underground Railroad Museum (highly recommend), the casino, and OTR - all by using Cincinnati's free Connector train. We also took the bus to the Newport Hofbrau House one night for dinner. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Cincinnati area that is conveniently located, look no further than the parsonage!
This is a beautiful, well maintained historic home in a quiet residential area in KY just over the river from Cincinnati. Communication with host was easy— everything was organized and ready for our visit. Check in was trouble free and we were greeted with a modern kitchen with plenty of “the basics “— towels, trash bags, soap, food storage bags, etc that made it easy to use the kitchen and easy to clean up after ourselves. Spacious dining room made family meals easy to pull off. Bedrooms just beautiful and towels nicely placed on the beds for each person. Washer and dryer came in handy. Easy walk to historic sections of Bellevue and we even walked from the house all the way across the river to Ohio on the pedestrian bridge. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
We already knew we loved this area in Kentucky. We also really liked the charming house. Beds were comfortable, attic area was great, and the living / dining rooms were perfect for our group. Communication with host was also great.
The house was so convenient to everything that we did in the Cincinnati area. We were able to walk easily to shops and restaurants from the house and it was easy to get in and out of the Cincinnati area in a car. It was great to stay in a house with a historic aspect. The only negative part of the house was actually the sleeping quarters in the upper floor/attic. The attic was so hot, even with AC, that no one could sleep in that room.
We enjoyed our stay! The owners were very quick to respond to our messages. The décor is lovely and thoughtful. We stayed in and cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped. TV has basic cable which owners might want to consider upgrading. The mattresses are another area where an update would be appreciated. Overall, we'd happily recommend this property.
We had a lovely stay over Christmas and very much appreciated the Christmas decorations that Jane added to make it festive. The house was clean, check-in easy, communication excellent and in a great location. If it wasn't so cold when we stayed we could have walked to shops and restaurants.
Family with three young kids and grandparents stayed for a week. House worked great for kids! Would stay again!
Gorgeous and spacious home. Perfect location to access all things Newport, downtown Cincinnati and OTR!
The house was perfect for our week-long stay. There were 6 of us (ages 8-82), we did not want for anything.
This is a beautiful home and in a great location to see sites of Cincinnati. We where a group of 5 adults who travelled to Cincinnati to see Phillies play the reds. The home was very clean and met all of our needs. We would recommend this home. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home.
FANTASTIC!!
The Old Parsonage was just as described. It was well equipped and provided comfortable space for gathering to visit, playing games, cooking, dining, and sleeping. Third floor sleep area was a good space for our granddaughter, her husband, and their one year old. There are great places close by for eating and looking...also places to access views of the river and, of course, the Cincinnati skyline. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. The location was specially convenient for us as we were in town for a family wedding in Covington with reception in Cincinnati. Each location was about a 15 minute drive. Jane provided a pack and play for the little one and even had a baby safety gate to secure the stairway. She responded quickly to text messages and provided lots of great information about the general area. We had a great time at the Bellevue house! Thanks, Jane!
House was clean , house had up to date appliances …
We were in town to celebrate our daughter's wedding. This house was in the perfect location to attend events on both the KY and Cincinnati sides. The house is bigger than it appears in the pictures. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and friendly conversations with the locals as they walked by. Super convenient to restaurants. We would stay here again!
