Beautiful Historic DT Raleigh

Place was terrible. No working wifi or fridge. No sitting area area at all and only 1 tv in small back bedroom. Lacking in basic rental set up items. 2 towels for a 3 bedroom is wild

The decor was scary...there was no living room because it was made into a bedroom...the wifi didn't work and fridge wasn't working...threw out milk and other perishables due to that...I did see the review that it was broke in July, how is it still broke months later. There was no eating area. We had to eat on the bed and floor.The host does not contact you when there's issues.There were no bath cloths to wash with. And the apartment is in the hood.

This property is a nightmare with no help from the host. There was only two rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay, the towels were moldy left in the dryer, the garbage was overflowing outside, there was no kitchen table to sit and the backyard was filled with fruit and leaves. The refrigerator did not work at all and the previous reviewed stated they had the same problem so I assumed it was taken care of by the time we got there. The host changed the password to the property and so we had no internet. The upstairs tenants are extremely loud as their children used the unit as a jungle gym. Host wouldn’t responded to the questions I asked. He offered me a cooler and some ice on the last day I was there. So we had to eat out everyday and every meal. And if we wanted to sit down, it had to be in bed. The neighborhood is filled with homeless people because of soup kitchen down the street.

The overall place was super cute and in a nice neighborhood. The only problem was the fridge didn't work, and the property manager (as of the time of this review) hasn't answered me back yet when I texted about it on Friday. I also tried to call, but they didn't answer. Course, I called at around 10pm, so they may have been asleep. I did leave a message and have yet to hear back.

walked into unlocked unclean home with bed sheets clearly used by previous guests still on, dirty pile of towels in the bathroom, dining table outside? chairs set like they played musical chairs previous to our visit? there was a lot going on. host had previously texted us the same day of our reservation after we asked if we could check in earlier than 5pm and they said we could check in at 3, but unfortunately we weren’t able to make until 5 anyways. why say we’re good to check in early but nothing is cleaned? after we walked into the house and realized it had not been cleaned we tried to contact the host by messaging and calling—no response. vrbo support attempted to reach him for 30 minutes while we waited on hold—no response. crazy turn of events overall, don’t waste your money on this! there’s better else where trust.
