Beautiful Entire House on a Canal W/ a Pool & Lanai - Serene & Private Setting!!

The property looks beautiful in the pictures, however, it wasn't my experience up close. Check in was smooth, once inside, the amount of dust collected on the ceiling fans, plus on other surfaces was completely unacceptable. There were boogers on the wall! Literal boogers.... Over all, from the host to Vrbo service was terrible. They wanted to keep my payment despite the service not being rendered! A property if being rented should be well kept, maintained, and clean!

Pool had not been cleaned, hot tub was in awful shape, neither were able to be used. Ants in the kitchen and master bathroom. TV was worked in living room but remote would not allow you to turn on/off or adjust volume. Home was hot during the day, AC didn’t seem to work properly.

The interior of this property was exceptional. The house itself was clean, beautifully maintained, well-decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the outdoor areas were a major disappointment.The backyard, patio, lanai, and pool area were simply filthy. There were spider webs and spiders everywhere, making it uncomfortable to sit outside or fully enjoy the pool. Debris from the overgrown plants continuously fell into the pool, and we found ourselves having to clean it before each use. The outdoor floors were also extremely dirty, to the point that we felt the need to wear shoes almost the entire time we were outside.What was most frustrating was that the photos of the pool and patio area were misleading and did not accurately represent the property's current condition. The outdoor space shown in the listing appeared clean, inviting, and well-maintained, but that was not our experience at all. The backyard felt neglected and poorly cared for, which significantly impacted our stay.If the owners are going to operate a vacation rental from a distance, the property needs to be maintained regularly. A thorough cleaning, landscaping service, and pest control treatment would make a huge difference. The inside of the home was wonderful, but the condition of the backyard greatly diminished what otherwise could have been an excellent experience.

Julie was a good host always replied to my questions right away. The property was great clean and a joy. We were able to relax swim and fish I will recommend to others going to port charlotte.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Walking down to the canal in the mornings to watch the sunrise was incredible. We did not get a chance to use the pool as the weather was a little cold. Julie the host was very responsive and very friendly. Great place to stay. Hoping to stay again soon.

The host communicated well. The house was nice, clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated that there were 2 beach chairs for us to use as we flew down and couldn't bring items like that. We loved sitting around the pool. We would definitely book this house again.

Truly enjoyed our stay! it was a perfect place to unwind after playing baseball all day. Having the option to swim or fish was amazing! Everything was clean and in good condition. Beautiful home! Thank you!

The home is beautiful and clean and great price! If everything stays the same, we will be staying here again.

When we first arrived it seemed very nice, but looking closer there were ants everywhere, pool had not been cleaned, and the grass was up to my knees and had not been cut. Upon that the ac wasn’t working had to go the first day with out and it being 85 in the house. The host did get an ac guy out the next day but it just broke again, he ended up telling us he’s been telling her to replace it for over a year so he got parts from him own house and came out and fixed it. Was also poison oak all through the back yard and growing up the sides of the wall in the pool area, which my mother in law ended up getting. Definitely consider getting a different house if you are debating on getting this one.

Arrived to a filthy house with no air. Host stated that she would be there in a few days. Told us to turn on ceiling fans. The house was 82 degrees. Julie the host made us flip breakers and take out the filter to the air. The filter was covered in dirt and dust balls fell from the filter. The air did not work. The curtain rods were falling off the wall. Con webs throughout. Dirty ceiling fans, mold, filthy pool, over flowing trash and an unkept lawn. We did not stay and had to call VRBO CS. Julie was rude to VRBO Ahmed. She seemed shocked that we were unhappy. Needless to say I am contesting it with my CC company. I have tried to upload more photos. I have a lot of them.

All of the vents had mold in them. This property should not be able to be rented in this condition. There were other issues noted, silverfish and small bugs in the bathroom/closet, dirty rugs and pool deck. The owner did send a cleaner to address dirty floors
