Wha a neat property!! It was very fitting for a family Christmas… rustic and nostalgic with its own story. The property is full of so many opportunities to play and explore and the indoor space has a ton of options as well!What a gem! The great room and feeding the fish daily were top on our love list! So grand!

Susan is so welcoming and accommodating! It was a perfect Christmas get away for our family.

Wow we all loved the property it had everything we could need with lots if space for everyone to do group activities or to find a quiet to enjoy the beauty of the forest that surrounds you on all sides the shooting range was well stocked with targets for hours of enjoyment the trout ponds have massive trout you can feed the house its self was huge and very homey and welcoming i couldn't be happier with our stay i recommend staying here 1000% ken and the sprinkler repair crew

We had an amazing time at elk mountain ranch. So much to do and explore without having to leave the property. The house was well stocked with supplies and with those few things that tend to be forgotten when packing. Susan and Mike were so accommodating, we will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful - awesome place for families!

Absolutely beautiful property and a quirky but comfy lodge brimming with character. We didn't interact much with Susan or Mike but thats only because we didn't need to -- we had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend!

This place is quiet and serene. The house is big enough to house the three families we put in there. There are 4 bathrooms, only one without a shower. They are so well placed, that each family had their own. The house is full of activities to do, from young children to adults. The outside is beautiful too. There’s fish ponds, a shooting range, a fire pit, and benches throughout the property to sit and enjoy nature. We will definitely want to come back. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

This home and the beauty of the outdoors is like a picture from the past. Pick fresh raspberry’s. And blueberry’s For pancakes in the morning. Wild life everywhere . The kids had a blast feed the trout. . The history of this family and the warmth you can feel all around you. The property is the most well stocked property I have ever stayed at. The hosts have thought of everything including kitchenware and appliances, toiletry items, books, games, puzzles, and movies. It is comfortable with stunning views. The location minutes away from downtown Coeur d'Alene is very convenient, but also quiet and peaceful. We hiked and saw a variety of wildlife. Excellent communication with the hosts who live nearby.We were there on a girlfriend trip and we all absolutely loved it!

Plenty or bedrooms, bethroom and space for a large family plus a lovely spacious kitchen and dining room for family time and meals..The property was amazing! The owners, Mike and Susan were the nicest, most accommodating. This property will take your breath away if you love nature and simple rustic charm of ranch living. Plenty to do for all…we enjoyed s’mores, pet fish ponds were a hit, walking the property to see all it had to offer. Keep your eyes peeled for the deer wandering pastures.

This property is like being in a movie. It's gorgeous. The house is very unique. Beds are comfy. Good hikes. Quiet. House is well stocked. Hosts are wonderful.

Very much enjoyed our stay. What a great place, scenery, creeks, ponds, trails and mountains. A ranch house that takes a full day to explore. It even snowed a little, so we were able to use the sledding hill. Plenty of things for kids to do. Will definitely try to get back there again.

Elk Mountain Ranch is a wonderful place for families to get get together to have fun and relax. There is a little bit of everything. Of course our favorite part was spending time with family over Christmas, but we also enjoyed feeding the trout and deer, paylung foosball, cozying up to the warmth of a fire, the beautiful scenery. Mike and Susan are wonderful hosts that make your stay comfortable and have great communication.

We rented this house for an 18th birthday party and it was perfect! We had a wonderful time and the property is beautiful!

Great property for getting together with family. The setting is beautiful.

Nine family members stayed here and had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there from a fully stocked kitchen, pantry, lots of supplies, toys and games, plenty of towels, blankets, etc. We enjoyed feeding the trout, eating pancakes from batter provided, and visiting the area. Cell phone connection was iffy but the remoteness was so nice. Great communication from owners and good instructions.
