Beautiful dog-friendly home with hot tub, WiFi, washer/dryer, grill, & balcony

We love the layout of this house with the hot tub on the top deck.

We stayed at this house with a group of 3 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 kids and a baby. It was perfect for what we needed! The house truly felt like staying in the vacation home of a friend. There are thoughtful pictures, decorations, and practical items everywhere. We really loved the main living area for gathering together to eat, movie nights, and play. The outdoor shower and clotheslines were perfect for what we needed. It is a longer walk to the beach than we were used to because the dunes are wide in Salvo, but we adjusted! What was a game changer is that this house is stocked with baby toys and enough board games & books to last you a lifetime. It was the best stocked for indoor activities of any beach house we have ever stayed in at OBX (we've been coming every year for the past decade). I would absolutely recommend this house to another group looking for a family stay together!

My parents are in their 70s and the fact that this house had an elevator was amazing! Salvo Sunset gave my parents the opportunity to enjoy OBX; and, the beach wheelchair, the ability for them to enjoy the beach! I am so happy everything about this house was wheelchair accessible and for older individuals. It was a dream! We also had my mother in law, husband, and our two boys (under 10). The house is STOCKED full of games! Like full on toystore stocked. My mom was able to relax in the book nook, which she loved. Again, there were as many books as a library! The house was so clean and welcoming. The glimpses of the blue ocean from the living room was so relaxing. The beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets and extra pillows. Everything was more than I could've ever expected. We, as a family, had a beautiful time and you will too if you are able to stay at Salvo Sunset!

The house is open and bright with all the amenities you need and want. Stayed with my adult children and 81 yo mother who would never have been able to come were it not for the elevator! Close to the beach and stores. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

As a former homeowner in rodanthe i know how difficult it is to keep these beach homes pristine. This home shows the love and care that they have in ensuring renters have a great experience

My husband and I and are dog loved this house. It has been decorated with care and a warmth that is so welcoming. The Great room on the top floor is a place you will never want to leave. So, many windows, such beautiful colors and so much comfort. I loved that this beach house has been in this family for over 53 years. There is a kindness to this place. We actually had several bad weather days and we were perfectly happy just to relax in this lovely house. We most definitely will come back! Thank you!

This house has everything and is a close walk to the ocean. We loved it so much,we booked 2 years in a row.Can't say enough good things!

Home is beautiful, clean and bright! I’ve stayed at many beach houses and this one had the best equipped kitchen of all!

We loved the location, kind of in the middle of everything - super close to Ocracoke, Hatteras, Bodie Lighthouse, etc. Loved the elevator to help with luggage and groceries! Lots of games, puzzles, books, equipment for babies, some toys, etc. Great deck although a few boards could be replaced and pieces or furniture replaced. Also it could have been cleaned better - there was sand and dog hair on some of the furniture and floor and the floors could have been cleaned. Loved the area and the space. The amenities were great! We also liked that we didn’t have to bring towels or sheets.
