Beautiful, custom 4 bedroom beachfront home on Sunlight Beach, Useless Bay.

Gorgeous location on a quiet beach with eagles and seals etc Beautiful home Host was very helpful There are a few safety issues such as the wobbly dinning room chair and stairs to the beach which are falling apart and dangerous

Great location and space for families

Truly enjoyed our time here. Great space to hang, cook and be with friends. Well played out for multiple couples and kids (with their own space!).

Beautiful place

A beautiful spacious beachfront property, great location close to grocery store, playground, Langley. Our grandkids enjoyed playing at the beach during the day and we enjoyed relaxing, sipping wine at the porch watching the sunset and the stars. It had a fully equipped kitchen, two fridges and a grill. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only wishing we had more time. The house is designed to maximize the gorgeous waterfront views, especially when the weather is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, but Langley is just a short drive away for shopping or dining. We had a minor issue with the house, and the property manager was very responsive!

We loved being on the beach, and even with stormy weather it was beautiful.

Very lovely setting and accommodations

What we loved about this home was even though it is a large home, it felt cozy and inviting. We were a group of five women and were able to all have our own bedrooms. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all open to each other which made for ease of all being together while we prepared meals. We spent most of our afternoons on the deck around the table and the beach out front. Can’t beat the southern exposure and sunsets.

Stayed 4 days with my Daughters family, including her sons (6&10). We all had a blast. The beach was right out the back door. They built sandcastles to watch the tide come in, figuring out strategies for reinforcements before the next high tide. We all walked the flats revealed when the tide when out. Lots of sand dollars burying themselves in the sand, tiny crabs under logs, watching the fish in the tidepools. Lots of seating available so we adults could watch them in comfort as they played on the beach. Exactly what we wanted to do for vacation. The house itself was A, beds were comfortable, bathrooms as listed, parking easy, all appliances worked, definitely exceeded my expectations after looking at several VRBO listings available for the dates I needed.There are lots of things to see and do in the area too. We went somewhere every day, to Langley to visit the chocolate flower farm and the whale center. We went to the Meerkerk Gardens which were beautiful and in season. Fort Casey Historical park which turned out to be outstanding for everyone. All within an easy drive fitting around the tide schedule.

Five of us, all best friends from college, enjoyed a no-spouses, no-kids long weekend at this beautiful costal property. The setup of the house was ideal for our needs, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, separation of bedrooms over 3 floors and a separate 1st floor gathering space, for both community and privacy. The large great room / open kitchen had enough seating for all of us, and really enhanced communication and relaxation. We hugely enjoyed the fabulous south-facing Puget Sound view, sand right off the back deck, and the best-stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental property. Even the knives were sharp! The well-stocked kitchen is key on Whidbey, as there are a few restaurants, but there is limited seating and the pizza place closes at 7pm. Vacationers should consequently plan to cook at least half of their meals, which was a delight in this kitchen! Fortunately, there's a good grocery store 1/2 mile away. The fireplace was also key, and we enjoyed a fire each night. We had one foible with the door handle on arrival, and Patty, the local property manager was extremely responsive. She even continued to check in with us during our stay. The whole experience was so positive that we are already planning our next trip! Thank you for providing such outstanding accomodations for our reunion weekend!

Nice house.

This beach house is the perfect getaway—just minutes from Langley and the ferry, and right on the beach. The home is beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

The house was lovely and provided great accommodations for four friends. The living area was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The view was spectacular both at high and low tides. The management was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

A very comfortable and lovely home with a fantastic 180 degree view of beach, water and mountains. Spacious, attractively decorated, light filled home with a well equipped kitchen and fantastic deck. A very friendly neighborhood. Lots of wild life viewing from rabbits to Osprey and Red Tail Hawks. Communication with management was quick, easy and excellent. And it's a great location for exploring the island's small towns and state/county parks.

Every things was perfect. Nice view

We loved our stay here - the view is amazing. We were happy to find that the kitchen was well stocked and loved the layout. The lower area is perfect for families with smaller children because it is separated from the rest of the home. We had a great time and plan to return!

A quiet and cozy retreat! The house is very well stocked, clean and spacious! It is a bit too cold and rainy this time of the year, would recommend visiting in summer to fully enjoy the beach.
