Beautiful Craftsman home 300' from Lake Charlevoix Public Beach

We had a great long weekend with 4 adults and 3 kids that included skiing during the day. The house was in close proximity to the ski hill but in an excellent location within walking distance to many restaurants and a close drive to the grocery store. Ken was a fantastic cost that was easy to communicate with and the house fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen and bathrooms were all updated.

Ken is a great host. The location is perfect walking distance to everywhere in town.

Loved it! The house was great. Very spacious, plenty of beds, recently redone kitchen that had everything we needed. And the location is fantastic! Short walk to the beach and to the downtown shops and restaurants. Ken was very responsive and helpful. We definitely would stay again.

The check-in process was unclear as the front door was unlock and had 1 antique key which had to be left in the door at night so we would be able to unlock the door in case of a fire. The owner or another man was staying in the basement during our stay- which made our family feel uneasy.

Awesome location in a very walkable area with many great options to keep everyone busy and entertained daily. The listing indicated that this was an entire house. We were surprised to find another rental unit and tenant in the lower level of the home. Also listed a hot tub in the ad. There is a hot tub but let the host know before you arrive to make sure it’s ready to use if it’s important to your stay. The home is very comfortable and made for an awesome vacation for our family. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks. There are many cool extras available to use while you are there. I would return.

Ken was very responsive to questions and was a great host. The location is perfect for walking everywhere downtown. The property is bigger than what we expected and had plenty of room to spread out. We will stay here again and again.

Ken's place is perfectly located in downtown Boyne City - close enough to walk to downtown restaurants and shops, and close enough to walk to the nearby public beach. Just a short drive to nearby grocery store. The home is very clean and spacious. We had 6 people for our week in Boyne City, 4 adults and 2 kids, and we had plenty of room to spread out. Two bedrooms with queen beds are upstairs and two bedrooms are downstairs on the main floor - one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. There is a full bathroom on each floor so we were able to have privacy in our own areas. I highly recommend this house for a stay up north and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
