I have family in the area and have stayed in this comfy home several times. This trip we celebrated my mom’s 84th birthday, and our family gathered at the property for lunch. To mom’s delight the owners brought her a cake and balloons. So kind!! The spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the porches are always an added and relaxing bonus. Thank you!
What a cozy home that was just perfect for my wife & I and our little dog Orvis . We were there visiting our oldest son and his wife and 8 month old daughter . The kitchen has alll the tools you would need to cook a meal . In fact we made a few things while we were there . We even kept our granddaughter one night to give our son and daughter in law a date night . We used the pack n play and walker and high chair . It was a great stay . Very cozy ! We will be back . ?
As advertised, the house is located in a quiet, rural location, but close to Weatherford and Fort Worth, and it was very comfortable for our family of 3. The shower in the bathroom off the living has comically low water pressure, but was functional. I absolutely loved the swings on both the front and back porches! The best part of this property is the host, Stacia, who is very accommodating, friendly, and quick to reply to messages. We're planning a longer stay beginning in January and are very much looking forward to returning!
Serene stay. Enjoyed wildlife watching on the patio every evening which consisted of owls, jays, roadrunners, and horses (neighbor). Stacia the host was very accommodating to our flexible schedule as well.
Two words: wildflower season. This ranch home was set on a property surrounded by wildflower fields and Texas oak groves. Stunning! The home was clean with lots of amenities for a long-term stay. Host was gracious and responded quickly. 10 minutes from downtown but super quiet.
Nice place, accommodated 4 adults with pets very nicely. Quiet and peaceful.
The house was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed mornings on the porch with our dog playing in the shady yard, and spent evenings with our 7 grandkids at their home in the area. Although we really enjoy being with the grandkids, it was nice to come back to our peaceful spot each night.
The title says it all. It was peaceful and quiet, with nothing but the cattle and the horses about.
Was very nice, peaceful and near shopping.
We really enjoyed the rural setting of this VRBO! It was nice to have lots of space to take our dog for walks. We saw deer, jack rabbits and road runners! I'd recommend staying here if visiting Weatherford.
We needed an affordable hub where our family could stay together, recharge, and enjoy a significant event. This property provided that for us and much more.
This cozy county cottage was perfect for our family and fur babies. We can’t say enough about the exceptional warm and friendly hospitality we received from Stacia and David. They created such a warm and festive environment for us to celebrate Christmas. We felt like we were home. The beds are comfy, the house was as described and very clean, it was equipped with everything we needed. We cooked, baked cookies and enjoyed the beautiful country scenery from the kitchen windows. We will definitely be back. Thank you for BLESSING our family.
Very peaceful location and welcoming guest house with privacy! We would certainly stay here again when visiting the Weatherford/Fort Worth area!
We had a very nice stay here. The kiddos loved it and were able to run around and enjoy nature. A cool front came through while we stayed and we were able to open the windows and enjoy the fall breeze. All in all a lovely stay for some much needed r&r.
This property was nothing like the photos. Piles of dust, clutter everywhere, food crusted on the microwave. The front door deadbolt was busted. The beautiful property you see in the photos are not permitted to be accessed by the dogs. There was a tiny front yard fence (broken) in which we were informed the dogs needed to be contained. The owner lived 10 steps away and came to our door 3 times in the span of an hour. We left one hour after arrival. The host was incredibly rude, uncaring and unprofessional. This was just far our worst experience with vrbo to date.
Wonderful home! Owner Stacia is terrific. Heat wave while I was there in August but air conditioning works superbly. Home is well-stocked, more spacious than it looks in photos, outdoor fenced yard in front is fantastic for dogs. My dog loved playing in the yard or sitting and watching squirrels and jackrabbits, listening to crickets. Outdoor furniture is good quality and comfortable. Love to come back in future (maybe when it’s not so hot and dry in Texas).
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property, and hope to return in the near future. We had all we could ask for, and the 2 fenced in yards for our huskies was a huge plus! We enjoyed the quiet days, sunsets, and starry nights. Hosts were available for any questions, while giving us our privacy to relax and unwind.
A nice quite and relaxing getaway. We wanted to get away from the city and all of the hustle. This was the place. Close enough to Dallas and Fort Worth for an easy drive. But it felt so nice to get back to a vey comfortable, quite and relaxing respite. Well stocked with everything you need. Even some light snacks and cold bottled water. Stacia was awesome and communication was easy and quick.
Very peaceful and comfortable. Clean and close to everything we needed.
Enjoyed the peaceful countryside. Jack Rabbits were a plus!
Wonderful place to stay. Everything was just like home...peaceful and perfect!
This is our 3rd time here at Stacia’s house. She is super helpful and nice! We love it here and will be back! We highly recommend it!!
Rural, quiet and peaceful. Close to Weatherford and just a hop to Fort Worth.
I traveled with my mom for an event in the area, and we stayed at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and inviting and access to the property was easy and seamless! We wound up being a bit high-maintenance-locking ourselves out & leaving a bag! The host/owner was very kind and patient and went out of the way to help us. Highly recommend this property!
This was the perfect space for me and my family for our weekend getaway. The property was clean and had everything we needed, as listed. Our dog came along and enjoyed the fenced in areas to roam. Stacia greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming. We enjoyed the front porch and patio in the mornings and evenings, which was peaceful and quiet. My children enjoyed being able to explore and be outside to play and go see the animals at the fence lines. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge!
