Stayed Oct 9, 2025We had a great time. The house was the perfect size for our group of four friends. The layout is a little awkward, with no access to a bathroom from the front bedroom without going through someone else's sleeping space at night, but it wasn't a big problem. AC in front bedroom didn't seem to work, but wasn't needed; the house stayed quite cool despite the 85 degree weather. Lots of road noise outside on the weekend, but that was expected on a busy weekend (LSU football game). We would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025This place was great!! We were in town for a bowling tournament at Raising Cane's River Center, which was just down the street from the property. It was also close enough to walk to a casino and the downtown area to see some of the sites and grab food and drinks. Would recommend and would stay here again!!

Stayed May 28, 2025My husband and I stayed here with 2 other friends while we were in town for the USBC Open at the Raisin' Cane's River Center. It was a short walk kitty-corner from the end of the block and past a parking garage. Perfect if you have an event. Everything we did was within 15 minutes from the home, LSU (and the original Raisin Canes) was 5 minutes away. The home was comfy and well appointed. Comfy beds, soft towels, plenty of space in the living room. Parking off street in the back was very conveinent. The kitchen has very limited counter space, it was fine for us as we didnt plan to cook but something to consider is making all meals is in your plans. It is clearly evident in the photos. Tonya was a great host. She checked in via the app to make sure check in went ok and the next day to see if we needed anything. We didn't, but based on her responsiveness to my messages back, I dont doubt she would have helped us solve anything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed May 9, 2025The property had everything we were looking for. The proximity to the venue made it very easy to get around. I would suggest adding a grab bar in the shower. Otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you

Stayed Apr 25, 2025First, thanks Tonya for letting us use your home while in Baton Rouge. The house is cute inside and very convenient for all the places we wanted to go. We had 3 couples in town for the USBC tournament. Very easy 5 min walk. We walked downtown each day to do some things and everything was easy to get too. Tonya did check in with us after the first day to see how it was going and we had no complaints. I would definitely recommend/stay again. thanks again!!

Stayed Mar 25, 2025A quaint, well appointed place. Beautiful turn-of-the-century architecture with lovely high ceilings and tall windows. Very clean and comfortable. I rested in comfort as my hubby wrestled with the lane conditions at the bowl - directly across the street from the cottage

Stayed Mar 22, 2025Our party consisted of myself, my husband, my adult stepdaughter, and my sister-in-law. All four of us were in town bowling in the USBC Open Championship tournament at Cane’s River Center. The house was clearly older, but very tastefully decorated and could not have been more conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the venue. Check in and check out were a breeze and communication with the host was awesome. We were provided some great recommendations for food and she was extremely accommodating and responsive. We loved the front porch swing and enjoyed our morning coffee out there. Not a gripe about the property itself at all but a few things to keep in mind: Our first night was a Saturday and the neighborhood was quite noisy though that’s to be expected given the proximity to the downtown area. The house is next door to a gas station so some of the noise was due to the proximity. The noise died down by 12-1am though so not a dealbreaker for us. There is only one shower along with a second half bath with toilet only….so we had to carefully plan who would shower when, especially since we were working with early morning schedules…but again, no big deal for us. Also, there isn’t much counter space for toiletries so we had to get creative and/or tote our stuff in and out of the bathroom each time…still not a huge issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property to other tourney bowlers and anyone else looking for a great experience!

Stayed Oct 11, 2024Our group of 7 had a fabulous time at this cottage! We were in town for an LSU football game and volleyball match. The cottage is only 2 miles(ish)from campus so it was easy to get back and forth. The house was spotless and the beds were comfy! The extra touches were so welcome! 5 guests showered back to back with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hosts were so attentive and answered any questions immediately. Highly recommend this property! easy to get back and forth

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The unit was spacious and clean. There were 8 of us which meant we had to share the 3 beds & 1 fold out couch. We decided to check out early because the heat was too much for the AC to keep up, but had the weather been better we would've stayed there with no issue. The host was kind and understanding of our situation.
