New house completed in June 2016 in an amazing location in the heart of the Coronado Village with lots of upgrades and attention to detail everywhere you look – perfect for a relaxing get away, family vacation or home away from home for an extended stay. The house is in a quiet setting off the street, but just three blocks from the beach and Hotel Del Coronado and steps from fun shopping and great restaurants on Orange Avenue. A car is not necessary your entire stay!
The house is over 2000 square feet and has three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the second floor, a half bathroom on the first floor and an outdoor shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed, large bathroom with two sinks, large walk in shower, and large walk in closet with built in drawers and shelves. If you need to stay connected, there is a desk and chair with a monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer to be hooked up to your computer. The first guest room has a king size bed and bathroom with a walk in shower, and walk in closet with built in shelves. The second guest room has two double beds, bathroom with a combination tub/shower, and large closet with built in shelves. The third floor loft has a day bed and a desk and chair, as well as a rooftop patio with a view of the ocean. There is also a wonderful Tuft & Needle twin mattress stored in the master bedroom closet that is easy to move where you need it. There are lots of extra comfy pillows, comforters and towels in the cabinet in the hallway of the second floor and in the guest room closets.
The main living area is on the first floor and is bright and open, with beautiful hard wood floors, wood blinds, a natural gas fireplace with a recycled wood mantel, a dutch front door and large sliding glass doors to the backyard. There is a large sectional couch (probably seats at least 8), dining table with 6 chairs (and bench for extra seating) and 3 comfy bar stools. There is a video closet and half bath downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, including Thermadore appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer w/ice-maker), Uline wine refrigerator, farm kitchen sink, built in microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, and more.
The house is a Savant smart home and has four HDTVs, one Sony TV in the living room and a Samsung TV in each bedroom. There is cable, a blu-ray player, streaming music and wifi, all operated by a mini ipad and remotes. The house has central heat and air conditioning. A washer and dryer are on the second floor with the bedrooms.
There is a small front porch with two rocking chairs and a beautiful back yard with outdoor seating, propane gas fire-table, natural gas Weber BBQ and outdoor shower, as well as a small lawn. The rooftop patio has a high top table with 4 chairs and looks out over Point Loma. The house has a small garage and parking space next to the garage. There is a large common driveway with three other homes that provides plenty of space for kids to play.
The best part of the house is the location! You can walk or bike ride everywhere. The grocery store is just a block away and great restaurants are closer than that. There are four new Electra bikes (with locks), two lounge chairs, four beach chairs, lots of beach towels and umbrellas, skate boards (and helmets), tennis rackets, a set of light dumbbell weights and beach toys for your enjoyment. The house is comfortable and relaxing, clean and uncluttered with personal items, and has a casual homelike feel for you to enjoy!

    We have been renting for a month on Coronado for the past 4 years. This house, by far, is our favorite. The location is amazing. You are less than a half block from the middle of Orange Ave with shopping and restaurants up and down the street. Only 3 blocks from the ocean. The home itself is beautiful. It has everything you need to make your stay feel as if you’re “home”. Thank you Michelle for sharing your home with us!!

    We so enjoyed our stay! Wish we could live there all year. The house is very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Stocked with everything you need - from hand towels to bicycles. The floorpan is a great use of space. When family or friends visited, we never felt like we were all on top of each other. The indoor/outdoor feeling in the family room/porch just adds to the charm. We could enjoy morning coffee outside just steps from the coffee maker. Or... Starbucks is just around the corner if you like a little walk in the morning. And speaking of walking - there are few houses with a better location. Restaurants, grocery stores and shopping are walking distance. Enjoy!
