Recently renovated to a very high standard Meadow Barn offers spacious family holiday accommodation. Conveniently situated in the village of Roch the cottage is one of three, set around a gravel yard adjacent to the owners property. The cottage benefits from off street parking for two cars and its own private garden with BBQ and picnic bench. Newgale Beach is just a mile and a half away and we are also ideally located for exploring the coastal scenery that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Inside the cottage there is a large open plan sitting / dining room with vaulted ceiling and patio doors into a generous conservatory. The main double bedroom is on the ground floor and also benefits from patio doors to the garden and an en-suite WC. There is a small step up between the main living room and other rooms downstairs. Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath and electric shower and a twin bedroom suitable for adults or children.

This holiday cottage is very attractive inside, retaining many of its original features, including exposed stone walls, original beams and brick arches. At the same time it also benefits from modern amenities such as double glazing and oil central heating.

Meadow Barn is generously equipped with all that you need to make your stay comfortable, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer as well as FreeSat TV. We invest in good quality mattresses to make beds as comfortable as possible and use hotel quality, pure cotton sheets as well as providing additional wool blankets for each bed. The cottage is heated with oil central heating (included) and also has a feature electric fire in the main room. In combination with good insulation (and thick stone walls) our experience is that the cottage is comfortable and cosy even in the depths of Winter. Decorated with work from local artists and local photos.

The cottage is well located for accessing the stunning coastline and beautiful countryside Pembrokeshire offers. It’s set off a busy road which means there is some traffic noise and it’s not in a cute village if that’s the vibe you are looking for but it suited us for trips to Fishguard, St David’s, Newgale Beach, NT Stackpole Estate and the stunning coastal paths to Barrafundle and Broad Haven. The barn was comfortable, we slept really well, very spacious and well equipped. WiFi was god enough for two adults WFH.The owners provide lots of useful information on the local area with maps.Delicious Welsh cakes on arrival were a nice touch.Thank you!

This converted barn in Roch was ideally located for visiting all the wonderful things that Pembroke has to offer. We travelled to Fishguard in the north and as far as Martins Haven in the south where we took a boat trip to Grassholm to see all the Gannets. Picton Castle and Garden is close by and there are castles galore to visit not to mention the fantastic beaches in the area. I would also highly recommend Paternoster Farm for a unique and special culinary experience which was worth every penny. The cottage was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay with a well equipped kitchen though we ate out most of the time. The hosts were very helpful and even provided some Welsh cakes for our arrival. I would certainly stay here again if we visit Pembroke in the future and would highly recommend both the cottage and Pembroke for a perfect holiday.

We stayed for 4 nights in Meadow Barn. The barn is lovely and the welcome box, milk and cakes from the owners was a lovely touch. The barn has everything you expect from a holiday home, we especially liked the conservatory, great for storing boots and cleaning the dog. The electric fire in the lounge/diner makes it very cosy. The bed was really comfortable and kitchen was really well equipped. The barn is located in a great place to explore Pembrokeshire. We particularly loved Newgale beach, Druidstone beach, Solva, St David’s, Broad Haven, Stackpole Quay and Barafundle Bay. Please note that there is no longer a shop in Roch so make sure you purchase anything you need either in Haverfordwest for a bigger supermarket or there are two local garages less than 10 minutes drive from the barn.We loved our stay and can fully recommend the barn especially for dog owners as the barn has its own secure garden.

The property is well located in the middle of Pembrokeshire, 30mins max away from all main must dos and must sees in Pembrokeshire. The host is very knowledgeable and gave us loads of advices about things to do with our children. The property is very well equipped and the encolsed garden was perfect for our young dog.dog.equipedchildren.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Paul and Juliet converted this barn into a top class holiday home. Close to beaches and everything what Pembrokeshire is famous for. Go for the puffins on Skomer Island (between April and August).
