Beautiful Cheyenne Cañon Retreat with Hot Tub, Walk To Broadmoor Hotel & Trails.

Had a conference at the Broadmoor- this was the perfect place to stay. Easily walkable to the conference with lots of deer along the way! Great communication from the host and the place was spotless. The hot tub was a great bonus!

Curtis is an excellent host. The cabin is unique and we appreciate him sharing it with others! This is a favorite place of ours to stay thanks to Curtis’ attentiveness as a host and the authenticity of this charming property.

Was a cute vintage place with lots of character. Could stand to replace some of the cookware.

My partner and I stayed here for a few days and it was amazing! Curtis was very hospitable and helpful. The house had so much charm and spirit. The hot tub was a plus! We loved the location and how quiet it was. I highly recommend staying here. It was a quick drive to all the popular destinations. The DVD player was a plus! There were lots of good movies to choose from.

We came for the zoo and this place was great! Welp kept and clean. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and in a good location of town; not too far from anything. We loved the old/historic features of the home. I'm sure we will look into this place for future visits!

Great location for hiking!

The home had lots of warm charm and located in a very mountain vibe area. Curtis was friendly and communicative. The hot tub was so relaxing! Thankful to have a pack and play and a highchair available for our kids.

Great all around.

It was lovely, but you really need a curtain in the kitchen that shares a door with the bathroom. I can see right into the neighbors house and they could see me.

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood with no disturbances. The house obviously has some age to it but was maintained very well! Rooms were clean, kitchen was well stocked, the check in process was smooth and easy.The hot tub was nice and clean, we enjoyed the hot tub a lot! The hot tub was missing the cover stand or whatever it's called that makes it easier to open... but it was not impossible to manage.Thank-you for the excellent place to stay on our anniversary!

I know it's hard to believe when you see a ton of highly positive reviews, but this cottage was fantastic! It's an older home with all of that charm and warmth.The neighborhood was super quiet and we had no issues at all.Just be aware that the laundry facilities are in the basement/cellar which requires you to go outside to get to. But not an issue at all. The host was super communicative, but we had no issues that required his assistance. Would definitely stay again.

It was perfect for our 3 day stay. Curtis and I shared a few texts and he even offered suggestions on other places to explore during the rest of our CO vacation. I'd stay again for another trip to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Captain Jack’s Cottage. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was just as described.

The house was in a great quiet neighborhood close to everything we wanted to see. Wi-Fi worked well and the appliances were all top notch. The communication was phenomenal. Very helpful and quick replies. My wife really enjoyed the books and I enjoyed playing guitar. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. I spent a lot of time on the back porch. Very peaceful and private. We had a friendly neighborhood raccoon perch on top of the fence and watch us for a while. Just a nice relaxing space.

Captain Jack's Cottage is a cozy home away from home. Check in and check out were a breeze. We loved the age of the home and character of the decor. The hot tub was a plus after a day of mountain activity. Thank you so much for sharing your property!

This little hidden gem was amazing with all original features and the 3 deer that greeted us upon arrival and came back everyday. The hot tub hit the spot after a long hike. Next time we're back in the area we would definitely book again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Cute little house close to all the attractions we loved the hot tube!

The house was perfect. We loved the location, easy to find and convenient to all the things we wanted to do. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. And one morning we had two deer lounging in the front yard! Loved our stay and highly recommended it.

Cute renovated old house, clean and stocked well. Washer and dryer are outside and downstairs in the basement (for those that are unable to use stairs). Saw deer everyday in front yard. Older neighbor lady to the right was friendly and nice. Appreciated the amount of towels. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

Charming cottage in a great neighborhood. We loved the hiking trails a few blocks away. The king sized bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a vacation rental. Ring the vintage doorbell just for fun. Thanks to the host. Top notch.

Very well appointed property with many thoughtful amenities provided. I pulled in the driveway one evening to see a deer staring at me without any alarm, so yes, it's a quiet side street off the beaten path. The host was very responsive accommodating special circumstances.

This property was wonderful! Comfortable, clean, kitchen was well-supplied, in a great neighborhood, and host was easy to reach and sounded like a great guy! We had a great stay in Colorado Springs…we’d love to go again, and would definitely recommend Captain Jacks!

We were attending a marriage retreat at the Broadmoor and this cottage was the perfect getaway spot to return to after sessions. Clean, charming and super comfortable. So close to the Broadmoor that we could walk there, which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful older home in a quiet neighborhood. Looked just as advertised. Deer wander the neighborhood. Didn’t have any reason to contact host during the stay, had zero problems. Great communication prior to stay as far as check in/check out info. Stayed over Christmas and there was a decorated treee and stockings hung on the fireplace. That was a very nice surprise.

This very cool, century old home has been been restored and updated in all the right places. Modern kitchen appliances, laundry WiFi/TV and Hot tub highlight the modern conveniences while the original structure provides the comfortable feel of living 100 years ago.

Great place to stay, owners were so accommodating. Quiet area. House has everything you need to feel at home. Loved the place!!!
