Was wonderful place for our family of 9 plenty of room and close to grand canyon and petrified forest
Secluded enough to feel semi-remote, but still within driving distance of Flagstaff and nearby attractions including some National Monuments. Great view of the mountains from the huge windows, nice relaxing 4-5 person hot tub with massaging jets and color-changing LEDs, fire pit outside by the hot tub, propane grill, even had a covered spot for me to park the RV and plug in to a 30-amp power source on the side of the garage. The RV is low clearance but got into the spot just fine without FWD. Note: This was before the snowy season. Winter conditions may cause little hassle for some vehicles, hard to say. Road in is paved, but long driveway is gravel. Also I don't know if anyone is going to read this far down but the Googe maps directions are a little off once you hit the property, it tells you the driveway in is on West of the property, but it's on the North. Was a little tricky turning the RV around on the small gravel road, but I managed just fine in the end. Great size, good kitchen, good beds, good baths. Eclectic mix of appliances, looks like high-end toilets and bath fixtures, but purchased a few decades ago perhaps. Some things have been updated but it's hard to say when it was built, some rooms have 70s/80s vibes, others more modern. Seems like someone's summer home that was a project for many years, but they have put quite a lot of money into it. Crowning glory is the wall of windows facing the mountains, chefs kiss to that idea.
Very spacious home. My family of 6 had plenty of room.
The house is big and was clean. View of the peaks is great. But the house needs updating. The floors are separating and need to be redone. Mattress pad on bed in master was plastic and noisy. Hot tub was great, but could use more beach towels for that as we only found two.
Highly recommend this house. Nice location and perfect communication with the owner.
Beautiful property falling into disrepair. Black mold in back guest suite...health hazard. Plank flooring seperated in spots throughout house...tripping hazard. Outside grounds maintenance needed...fire hazard.
This house was perfect for our family of 11! It's rare to find a property that can accommodate lots of kids, full of energy and excitement. The kids had plenty of room to run, build forts, throw frisbees, kick balls, hack at wood, play games, and explore...without a noise restriction. The adults had plenty of privacy (including bathroom privacy), lounging space, table space, and kitchen space. The AC worked great (it was much hotter than we had anticipated), and the hot tub was a definite bonus. My 4 star review is because while the house was great, it wasn't perfect...the laminate flooring has a lot of gaps, which collected debris and could cause someone to slip and/or pinch their skin. The toilets have very little pressure, often times hardly flushing even urine. Every room has a door to the outside, but there was very little seating (if any) on the porches/patios. None of my negatives would keep me from staying again, but I think all feedback is good on reviews.
The stay was perfect! Our goal was to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona. This place was perfect. The location was close to everything we needed to visit. Waking up in the morning to the Mountain View was a bonus. Thank you!
Overall the house was great. Lots of rooms. It's very outdated and we had a few issues. The wifi didn't work all weekend long so no TV or movies. The washer flooded. The small appliances and stuff for the kichen was scattered all over so we were constantly opening up all the drawers to see where everything was at. The master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and felt like we were sleeping on a plastic bag everytime we moved. The kids had a great time though as there was lots of space and they loved the hot tub.
The cabin had beautiful mountain views, and was within driving distance to the Grand Canyon. It was very roomy and could accommodate large families. My only complaint was the wi‐fi and lack of cable. We had no issues connecting our devices to the wi-fi, but the television would not sync up, therefore we could not use the tv at all.
Home is nice and located on a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy the snow , only bad thing was 2 out the 3 toilets were dirty we had to clean them to feel comfortable. Wifi works well and garage was big for the cars . Overall good place to stay ??
This home was absolutely perfect for our stay and was actually better than the pictures. Everyone had a wonderful time! Check-In instructions don’t come until the day of reservation. Those of us that use VRBO regularly know this to be odd as some require prep. Property management company lacks customer service, rather than answer questions they want you to download their personal app to receive help. (Defeats the purpose of VRBO all together). Wouldnt allow us to add a night or pay for early check in claiming the month was booked out but their availability was public and showed tons of availability. The owners deserve a better company. The home was amazing.
Location, scenic, lots of room, gas fireplace, garage and hot tub
Easy check in. Nice home. Met our expectations. House was clean and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay to escape the Tucson heat. Thanks
